Bedienung

kontrollieren

Die Klemmbackenpaare sind beidseitig verwendbar für 90°

(DIN) oder 45°. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Klemmbacken so

zueinander eingesetzt werden, dass kein unterschiedliches

Profil aneinander liegt! Beachten Sie die Markierungspunkte

als Hilfestellung für die korrekte Ausrichtung!

Operation

Check size of the brake pipe and choose suitable gripping

jaws (5, 6, or 7). Put brake pipe in between the jaws.

Use the jaws in order to create the desired flare

(90° respectively 45°).

Use the tensioning screw to lock the brake pipe in between

the jaws.

!!!Make sure that the brake pipe is flush with the jaws and the

tensioning screw has been tightened so that the brake pipe

will not slip out during the operation!!!

Use a ratchet to tighten the screw and firmly press the jaws

together.

Turn the pressure plate (2) onto the spindle

WITHOUT TIGHTENING IT YET !

Take the spindle (3) and put in the plunger (9 - 13) needed

for the desired flare.

Now you can screw the spindle assembly (3) onto the pressure plate and the body (2).

Make sure that the spindle is fully screwed onto the body!

Use the handle (4) to operate the spindle (3) and turn it

clockwise until you can sense a counter pressure to finish

the flare.

Turn the handle (4) counterclockwise to loosen the spindle

(3) again and take it out of the pressure plate.

For double flares you may now replace the plunger to finish

the flare.

Loosen the body’s (1) tensioning screw and take out the jaws

to inspect the finished flare.

All gripping jaws can be used both ways for 90° (DIN) or 45°.

Make sure that the jaws are pressed against each other

correctly (no different profiles against each other)!

Use the marks as a help for a correct jaw alignment!

eje.

ATENCION: sin llegar a apretar
