How to admit microphone units for votings
6. How to proceed with Voting
• In order to vote the microphone units must be registered in
the list of the left hand side of the screen.
• To register the microphone units in the system you must
briefly press the microphone button of the switched on
microphone units.
• The microphone units will be displayed in the list with their
serial numbers.
• Using the MCW-D 200 Editor Software you can enter the
names of the participants and an ID-no. for the serial
number. Please also refer to the MCW-D 200 Editor manual.
6.1 How to admit Microphone Units for
Voting
• To admit the participants to take part in the voting you must
tick the appropriate check box in the “Voting” column.
• If only a few or all participants are to take part in the voting
you must mark the appropriate microphone units in the list
with the mouse or the “↓” key and the “Shift” key and press
the “Check Selected” button (1). The check boxes in the
voting column are ticked.
• If you want to cancel the admission for voting, remove the
tick from the check box in the “Voting” column or mark the
microphone units in the list and press the “Uncheck Selected”
button (2).

How to enter the voting options
6.2 How to enter Voting Options
• Under “Voting Options” you can enter different voting
options (1) such as “Yes”, “Abstain”, “No” or “+”, “Abstain”,
“-” in opinion polls.
• You can enter up to 4 letters or other characters. Avoid
mutated vowels and special characters.
• As soon as the voting facility is started, the voting options
are shown on the display of the microphone units.
• The participant can vote by pressing the appropriate button
of the microphone unit. Under the selected option “##” will
be displayed. The participant can change his mind and press a
different button up until the voting procedure has ended.
• If you select “Re-set Voting Option” (2) you can adjust the
original voting options.
