INSTALLAZIONE
Aperta la confezione, assicurarsi che contenga la stampante
e gli accessori. Per l'installazione, procedere come descritto
di seguito (vedere figura a lato).
1) Posizionare la stampante in piano e su una superficie
stabile.
2) Collegare l’alimentatore AC (NON fornito),alla stampante
ed alla rete.
3) Accendere la stampante termica DPU-414.
4) Aprire lo sportellino del contenitore della carta termica,
ed inserire la carta stessa, come in figura. Quando la carta
sarà posizionata correttamente il LED OFFLINE cesserà
di lampeggiare, e rimarrà acceso ad indicare che la
stampante è ancora in OFFLINE mode.
5) Per un corretto funzionamento della stampante impostare
i DIP switch come di seguito.
-Spegnere la stampante, Power su OFF.
-Premere conteporaneamente l’interruttore POWER ON
ed il pulsante ONLINE. -Rilasciare il pulsante ONLINE. La
stampante stamperà le impostazioni correnti: Dip SW-1,
Dip SW-2 e Dip SW-3. A questo punto la stampante scriverà:
Continue? Push ‘On-line SW’ “, “Write?: Push ‘Paper feed SW’.
Per cambiare le impostazioni DIP SW, premere il
pulsante ONLINE.
Per lasciare le impostazioni DIP SW invariate, premere
il pulsante FEED.
6) Premere il tasto ONLINE per impostare i DIP Switch su
ON ed il tasto FEED per impostare su OFF.
Si consiglia di modificare esclusivamente le
impostazioni del DIP SW-2 in posizione 1: da 40
columns (ON) a 80 columns OFF) e confermare come
da schema tutte le altre impostazioni dei DIP SW-1,
DIP SW-2 e DIP SW-3. A questo punto premere il tasto
FEED (OFF) per confermare le impostazioni, la stampante scriverà “Dip SW
setting complete!!”.
7) Spegnere la stampante DPU-414, connettere la stampante stessa con un
cavo parallelo (NON fornito) alla scheda K3/PRT2 della centrale KYO 320.
8) Riaccendere la stampante, pronta per la normale operatività.

INSTALLATION
Open the carton box, make sure it contains the printer
and all accessories. Work through the following instructions
carefully to install the printer (see figure).
1) Locate the printer in a flat, stable place.
2) Connect the AC adaptor (NOT supplied) to the printer
and plug into an outlet (Main).
3) Turn on the DPU-414 printer.
4) Open the paper cover, place the paper on the cover
to make feeding easier (see figure). When the paper is set
correctly, the OFFLINE lamp stops blinking and stays on to
indicate the printer is still in OFFLINE mode.
5) For proper operation of thermal printer set DIP
switches as follows.
-Turn the Power on OFF.
-Slide the power switch to ON while pressing the
ONLINE button. Release the ONLINE button.
The thermal printer will print a list of the current settings:
Dip SW-1, Dip SW-2 e Dip SW-3. The current settings is
followed by the prompt: Continue? Push ‘On-line SW’ “,
“Write?: Push ‘Paper feed SW’. To change the DIP SW
settings, push the ONLINE button.
To leave the DIP SW settings unchanged, push the FEED
button.
6) Push the ONLINE button to set the DIP Switch on ON
and the FEED button on OFF.
We recommend to change ONLY the DIP SW-2 setting
on the first line: from (40 columns) set to (80 columns)
(from ON to OFF) and confirm all the others settings of DIP
SW-1, DIP SW-2 and DIP SW-3 (see tables).
At this point push the OFF (FEED) button to confirm the
settings, the printer writes “Dip SW setting complete!!”.
7) Turn OFF the DPU-414 printer, connect the printer to
the K3-PRT2 interface of KYO320 control panel, with an interface parallel cable
(NOT supplied).
8) Turn ON the Printer, ready for normal operation.
