Before First Use

1. Temperature range: -50℃~ 300℃(-58℉~ 572℉),
accuracy: ± 1℃(1.8 ℉) .
2. ℃/℉switchable.
3. Lock function: lock the measured temperature reading after
taking out the probe for 5 seconds.
4. Automatic wake up display and measure when pick up the device.
5. Auto-rotating reversible display.
6. Auto off function.
7. Warm orange backlight.
1. Clean stainless tip with warm soapy sponge or cloth, then rinse
and dry.
2. Install 2 x AAA battery.
3. Read and follow all instructions before first use .
4. The thermometer is ready to use.

Setting
After power on, the backlight will last for 2 seconds and the
LCD is fully displayed, then display the actual temperature.
Lock function
Short press【LOCK/C/F】button to lock the measured temperature
reading after taking out the probe for 5 seconds,press again to
unlock or automatic unlocking after 5 seconds without operation.
Change temperature unit
Long press【LOCK/C/F】button 2 seconds to change temperature
unit( ℃/℉) .
Turn off/Sleep function
• Long press 【/ON/OFF】button 2 seconds to turn off the
device;
• In the shutdown state, short press to turn on the device.
• When the temperature is between - 50 ℃~ + 50 ℃
(-58 ℉~ 122 ℉) and the temperature change is not more than
1 ℃(1.8℉）with no operation in 90 seconds, it will enter into
sleep mode .
Backlight function
Short press【 /ON/OFF】button to light up the backlight until
to sleeping mode,press again to turn off the backlight.

Attentions
Temperature Range
Detection range: -50℃~ 300℃(-58℉~ 572℉), lower than -50
℃(-58℉) will show LL.L, higher than 300℃(572℉) will show
HH.H.
• Do not touch the stainless portion of the thermometer during or
right after measuring temperatures to avoid scalding.
• When measuring multiple or different foods and meats, it may
be desirable to cool the probe by rinsing the tip with cold water
between readings.
• Wipe the probe tip clean before each readings, which is
especially important when taking readings from different foods
and meats.
• The thermometer is designed for temporary, hand held use. Do
not leave in an oven or inserted in extremely hot foods or liquids
(anything over 300℃/572℉) for more than 1 minute.
• Avoid touching bone. If the tip touches the bone or heavy fat
area of the meat, or if the tip is not deep enough, take a second
reading to ensure accuracy.
• Not intended for use by persons age 12 or under.

Care & Preservation
Warranty
• Do not place the unit in dishwasher or immerse in any liquid.
• Wipe the probe tip with a damp soapy cloth or sponge to clean
the thermometer .
• Do not leave exposed to extreme high or low temperatures to
avoid damage of electronic parts and plastics.
• Do not leave the thermometer inserted in food during cooking.
• Remove battery if stored for more than four months.
BALDR provides a 1-year limited warranty on this product against
manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty service can only be performed by our authorized service
center. The original dated bill of sale must be presented upon
request as proof of purchase to us, or our authorized service
center.
The warranty covers all defects in material and workmanship with
the following specified exceptions:(1) damage caused by
accident, unreasonable use or neglect (including the lack or
reasonable and necessary maintenance); (2) damage occurring
during shipment (claims must be presented to the carrier); (3)
damage to, or deterioration of any accessory or decorative
surface;(4) damage resulting from failure to follow instructions
contained in your owner’s manual.

This warranty covers only actual defects within the product itself,
and does not cover the cost of installation or removal from a fixed
installation, normal set-up or adjustments, claims based on
misrepresentation by the seller or performance variations resulting
from installation-related circumstances.
To receive warranty service, the purchaser must contact with
BALDR nominated service center for the problem determination
and service procedure.
