knob to the OFF position. If this cannot be accomplished safely, immediately
get away from the appliance and contact the fire department. Extinguish any open
flame, use an approved fire extinguisher. Always have an approved extinguisher on hand
when using this product. A Class “B” dry chemical or CO2 extinguisher or preferably a
Class “K” extinguisher. Special care must be taken to understand the manufacturer’s
instructions and be prepared to operate the appropriate extinguisher prior to using this
appliance. Never attempt to extinguish an oil or grease fire with water. If you continue

This burner is designed for use with butane gas only (8.8 oz. [249 g] cylinder not included).
Burner is rated at 8530 BTU’s per hour.
WARNING: This product should only be used outdoors on a at, level surface. If unit is stored
indoors, the butane canister must be detached and stored upright, outdoors. This burner must
be a minimum of 10 ft. (3 m) from any wall, railing or other object. Do not use this burner under
any structure.

DANGER
• NEVER operate this appliance unattended.
• NEVER operate this appliance ON or UNDER any overhead roof covering, awning, overhang,
apartment, condominium, balcony or deck.
• NEVER operate this appliance indoors or any enclosed area - including tents. This appliance
should ONLY be used outdoors.
• NEVER install or use this appliance on a boat or other recreational vehicles.
• DO NOT USE ON SURFACES such as wood, asphalt or any plastic material.
These surfaces are combustible and may melt or catch re.
• NEVER operate this appliance within 10 feet (3.0 m) of any structure, combustible material or
other gas container.
• NEVER operate this appliance within 25 feet (7.5 m) of any ammable liquids.
• Hot cooking liquids can remain dangerously hot long after cooking. NEVER handle the cooking
appliance until the cooking liquid has cooled to less than 115o F (46o C).
• NEVER use two or more stoves next to each other.
• Do NOT move or carry appliance while in use.
• Aluminum foil should NEVER be used as a cooking vessel on stove.
• NEVER use ceramic cookware on this stove.
• NEVER use this stove in high winds.
• Use insulated oven mitts to protect yourself from hot surfaces or splatter from cooking
liquids. Closed toed shoes should always be worn during operation of this appliance.
• Keep children and pets away from the cooking appliance at all times.
• The use of alcohol, prescription drugs or non-prescription drugs can impair the consumer’s
ability to accurately assemble or safely operate the appliance.

dry/chemical or CO2 extinguisher. Special care must be taken to understand the
manufacturer’s instructions and be prepared to operate the appropriate extinguisher
prior to using this appliance.
• The minimum outside operating temperature of this appliance is 32O F (0O C).
NEVER use this appliance when temperature is below the minimum.
• Take CAUTION when in close proximity to appliance. Falling or tripping near the butane stove
may result in the splashing or igniting of hot cooking liquids and potentially causing personal
injury or property damage.
• This appliance is NOT intended for commercial or indoor use.
• The installation must conform with local codes or, in the absence of local codes, with either the
National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54, Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code,
CSA B149.1, or Propane Storage and Handling Code, B149.2.
• NEVER use this appliance as a source of heat.
• In the event of rain, snow or other precipitation while cooking, IMMEDIATELY turn o the
appliance burners and gas supply, then cover the cooking vessel. NEVER attempt to move
the appliance or cooking vessel while the unit is on.
• When cooking, the appliance must always be on a level, stable, non-combustible surface such
as brick, concrete, or dirt. NEVER use this appliance around surfaces such as asphalt, wood,
dry grass or leaves, vinyl or plastic.
• Keep the cooking area adjacent to the butane stove clear of debris and free of anything
ammable or combustible.
• NEVER place an empty cooking vessel on the appliance while in operation.
• NEVER use a cooking vessel with a diameter larger than 8 in. (20.3 cm). Doing so will block
the fuel compartment and cause the canister to reach an unsafe temperature.

Safety
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS FOR BUTANE CANISTERS
• You must use a butane gas only (8.8 oz. (249 g) cylinder not included) with this product.
• Avoid any impact or shock to the fuel canister.
• Before storing the stove, remove the butane canister and store the canister upright, outdoors.
• NEVER dispose of empty gas canisters into re as an explosion may occur.
• Carefullly follow the maufacturer’s safety and storage recommendations on the butane canister.
• Butane canisters must be out of the reach of children and stored outdoors in a
highly ventilated area.
The LP-gas cylinder(s) used with a stove shall be constructed and marked in accordance with the
specications for LP-gas cylinders of the U.S. Department of Transportation or Transport Canada,
the Standards for Cylinders, Sphere and Tubes for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, CAN/
CSA B339.

Set-up
Stove set-up:
1. Flip porcelain coated grate so that the support brackets are facing up.
2. Place stove on a at, heat-resistant surface.
3. Make sure the cartridge lock/unlock lever is in the UNLOCK position.
4. Make sure the ignition knob is in the OFF position.
5. Open canister storage.
6. Gently rotate the fuel cartridge until the notch ap is seated completely
into the fuel collar notch.
7. Press the cartridge lock/unlock lever on the front of the stove to the LOCK position.
NEVER USE A FLAME TO CHECK FOR GAS LEAKS.

Using the stove
Using the stove:
1. Turn ignition knob counter-clockwise until you hear a
click. A spark will be produced and should light the
burner.
2. You can adjust ame to desired height by turning the
knob in a clockwise direction. The ideal ame will be
blue with a touch of yellow near the tip.
Note: If the stove will not light, turn ignition knob to
the OFF position. Repeat Steps 1-2. If after 3 tries the
burner will not ignite, remove the canister and lightly
shake the canister to ensure it has fuel in it.
3. To turn o your stove, simply turn the ignition knob
to the OFF position.
CAUTION: Make sure stove is completely cool before
inserting canister.
NOTE: Portable butane stove comes with a safety
feature that stops the ow of gas if the canister
pressure becomes too high.
