Intended Use of Your Washing Machine

Important Safety Instructions
When properly cared for, your new washing machine
has been designed to offer safe and reliable operation.
WARNING - To reduce the risk of fire, serious injury or
death when using your washing machine, basic safety
precautions should be followed, including the following.
Operation
1. Keep the area underneath and around your machine
free of combustible materials such as lint, paper,
rags, chemicals, etc. Improper use can cause fire or
explosion.
2. Do not put living animals such as pets into the
machine. Failure to do so may result in injury.
3. Never reach into the machine while it is operating.
Wait until the Drum has completely stopped. Failure
to do so may result in injury.
4. Do not wash articles that have been previously
cleaned, washed, soaked, or spotted with gasoline,
dry-cleaning solvents, or other flammable or
explosive substances as they release vapours that
could ignite or explode.
5. Do not add gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other
flammable or explosive substances to the wash
water. These substances release vapours that could
ignite or explode.
6. Keep all washing detergents, fabric softener and
bleach away from children. These products contain
poisonous substances.
7. The Drum only rotates in one direction. Do not force
the Drum to rotate against its intended rotation
direction as it can cause permanent damage to the
machine and injury to you.
8. Do not use excessive force while operating the
machine. Failure to do so may result in injury.
9. Operate the washing machine in an unobstructed and
dry area to avoid tripping and falling.
10. Do not machine wash fibreglass materials (such
as curtains and window coverings that contain
fibreglass materials). Small particles may remain
in the washing machine and stick to fabrics in
subsequent wash loads, causing skin irritation.
11. Always follow the care instructions recommended by
the clothing manufacturer.
12. Do not operate the washing machine if parts are
missing or broken.
13. This machine must only be used only for its intended

such as vinegar and/or rust remover. Mixing different
chemicals can produce a toxic gas which may cause
death.
4. Store the machine in a place where it will not be exposed
to temperatures below freezing or to outdoor weather
conditions. Failure to do so can result in leakage.
The IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS and
WARNINGS indicated in this manual do not cover all
