Thank you for using WeTek Play. Before using the product, please read carefully all the useful
information provided in this manual. It will help you and will alert you to necessary safety
precautions preceding its rst usage. This instruction manual will help you to connect and
setup your device. Now, you can take total control of your entertainment.
1. Important information for the users
1.1 Important Safety Information
READ, FOLLOW AND KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
• Do not use this device near water.
• Clean only with a dry cloth.
• Do not block any of the ventilation openings.
• Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves or other
devices (including ampliers) that produce heat.
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plug,
receptacles and the point where they exit from the device.
• Only use attachments/accessories included within this package or recommended by the
manufacturer.
• Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.

1.2. Precautions
PLEASE READ THESE PRECAUTIONS BEFORE OPERATING THIS UNIT:
a) Power cord protection
To avoid any malfunctions of the unit, and to protect against electric shock, re or
personal injury, please observe the following.
• Hold the plug rmly when connecting or disconnecting the power cord.
• Keep the power cord away from heating appliances.
• Never put any heavy object on the power cord.
• Do not attempt to repair the power cord in any way.
• Never make or change connections with the power switched on.
b) Power cord protection
Avoid placing the unit in areas of:
• Direct sunlight or heating radiators
• High temperature (over or high humidity (over 90%)
• Dust as the internal parts may be seriously damaged.
c) Non-use periods
When the unit is not being used, turn it o. If it is unused for a long period of time, the
unit should be unplugged from the power source.
d) No ngers or other objects inside
•Touching internal parts of this unit is dangerous and may cause serious damage to the
unit.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the unit. Do not put any foreign object in this unit.
e) Keep away from water
Keep the unit away from ower vases, tubs, sinks, etc. If liquids are spilled into the unit,
serious damage could occur.

Thank you for purchasing WeTek Play. This User’s Manual provides step by step instructions
for installing and using your WeTek Play. For the latest product information and WeTek news,

YOUR WETEK GIVES YOU ACCESS, AMONG OTHERS, TO THE FOLLOWING POSSIBILITIES:
• HDMI 1.3 interface for digital audio and high-denition video
• Composite interface (RCA, yellow / white / red) for analog AV connection
• S / PDIF (optical) digital audio hi-
• Video output resolutions up to 1080p and others
• Surround Digital audio output multichannel or stereo (digital surround sound is only
available when using the S / PDIF interface)
• wired (Ethernet cable not included) or wireless Internet connection.
• Check-in microSD cards.
• 3 USB external ports where you can connect several USB storage devices and access them
simultaneously. You can also connect keyboards, webcams and other devices with USB
connection.
• Bluetooth to connect your speakers, keyboard, mouse, tness watches, mobile phone and
other devices with Bluetooth 4.0
• The airmouse (included) allows you to browse the operating system in a more intuitive,
easily and quickly.
• Modular tuner* possibility, give you instant access to thousands of TV channels.
• Internet TV with IPTV

1.2. Precautions
Before you install your WeTek Play, check that all the accessories you need have been
supplied:
• WeTek Play Box
• RCU
• Power adapter
• HDMI cable
• Serial debug cable
• WeTek Membership card
• Update nail

YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
• TV, monitor or projector with HDMI port or alternatively with composite input ports
(standard A / V)
• Two AAA batteries for the RCU
• Internet network connection
• Ethernet cable (optional)
• Optical cable (S / PDIF) (optional)
• AV Composite Cable (optional)
• Coaxial cable (optional)
• MicroSD card for external storage (optional)
3.2. Installation Requirements
Your WeTek Play can only be installed correctly when accompanied by:
TV, monitor or projector with HDMI port or alternatively with composite input ports (standard

FRONT VIEW
a) Power Button
Turn on and o your WeTek directly by depressing this button. Alternatively you can do it
with the AirMouse.
b) Status Led
O - The power cord is disconnected.
Red - WeTek Play is in standby mode
Blue - WeTek Play is on and the image should appear on the screen
c) Ethernet Led
When using an Ethernet connection, a blue light will show.
d) WiFi Led
When using an WiFi connection, a blue light will show
