1. Read all instructions.
2. Keep ngers clear of the Blade at all times. NEVER push the product with
your hands in line of the Blade, ALWAYS use the Sliding Carriage. The
Thumb Guard is on the Sliding Carriage as a safety measure. Do not allow
your thumb to go past the Thumb Guard.
3. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. NEVER LEAVE THE SHREDDER
UNATTENDED.
4. The Manufacturer declines any responsibility in the case of improper use of
this Shredder.
5. DO NOT use the Shredder while under the inuence of drugs or alcohol.

1. Cut the cabbage or leafy vegetable head
into quarters or a size that will t into the
wooden Sliding Carriage.
2. Slide the Sliding Carriage into the groove
on the Cabbage Shredder Base. NEVER use
the Cabbage Shredder without the Sliding
Carriage! SEVERE INJURY MAY OCCUR!
3. Place the sectioned cabbage into the
Sliding Carriage.
4. Hold the Cabbage Shredder at a 45oangle
over a pan. The sharp Blade edges should be
facing up.
5. To hold the cabbage in the Sliding Carriage,
place four ngers on the top of the cabbage
and your thumb on the outside of the Sliding Carriage. DO NOT allow ngers or
thumb to come in contact with the Base and the Blades. The Thumb Guard is on
the Sliding Carriage as a safety measure. Do not allow your thumb to go past the
Thumb Guard.

6. With up and down, quick motions, slide the Sliding Carriage while applying
pressure to the cabbage. The sliced cabbage will fall through the bottom of the
Cabbage Shredder into the pan.
7. USE CAUTION! When the cabbage in the Sliding Carriage becomes
approximately 2” (5 cm) thick, STOP SLICING! Cut the small left-over pieces
by hand. Blades are very sharp and may lead to serious personal injury if the
cabbage gets too small.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
To clean the Slaw Board & Cabbage Shredder, hand wash with warm, soapy
water. Rinse with clean water and dry immediately.
wCAUTION SHARP BLADES! Avoid any contact with the Sharp Blades! This
product is NOT dishwasher safe.
NOTE: It is highly suggested to coat the Blades with a food-grade silicone
spray to prevent corrosion.

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only
express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of
one (1) year from the date of original purchase. During this period, your exclusive remedy is
repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option. If
the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or
greater value.
This warranty does not cover unauthorized repairs or service to products, products sold
“as-is” by retailers, glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed
directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
This warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser or gift recipient and is not
transferable. Keep the original sales receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a
warranty claim. This warranty is void if the product is subjected to any voltage and waveform
other than as specified on the rating label (e.g., 120V ~ 60 Hz).
We exclude all claims for special, incidental and consequential damages caused by breach of
express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to the amount of the purchase price. Every
implied warranty, including any statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in
which case such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written warranty.

1. Corte el repollo o la verdura de hoja
en cuartos o en un tamaño que se pueda
acomodar en el carro deslizante de madera.
2. Deslice el carro deslizante por la ranura
en la base del triturador de repollo. ¡NUNCA
use el Triturador de repollo sin el carro
deslizante! ¡PUEDE OCASIONAR GRAVES
LESIONES!
3. Coloque el repollo cortado en el carro
deslizante.
4. Sostenga el Triturador de repollo a un
ángulo de 45oencima de un recipiente. Las
orillas losas de la hoja deben estar hacia
arriba.
5. Para sostener el repollo en el carro deslizante, coloque cuatro dedos sobre
el repollo y su pulgar por fuera del carro deslizante. NO permita que los
dedos o el pulgar entren en contacto con la base y las hojas. La guarda para
pulgar es una medida de seguridad del carro deslizante. No permita que su
pulgar pase la guarda para pulgar.

6. Con movimientos rápidos hacia arriba y abajo, deslice el carro deslizante
mientras aplica presión sobre el repollo. El repollo rebanado caerá por la
parte inferior del Triturador de repollo al recipiente.
7. ¡TENGA CUIDADO! Cuando el espesor del repollo en el carro deslizante
disminuye a aproximadamente 2 pulg. (5 cm), ¡DEJE DE REBANAR! Corte
las pequeñas piezas restantes manualmente. Las hojas son muy losas y
pueden resultar en graves lesiones si el repollo se hace demasiado pequeño.
wPRECAUCIÓN ¡HOJAS FILOSAS!
CÓMO USAR LA TABLA PARA ENSALADA DE
REPOLLO Y TRITURADOR DE REPOLLO
Para limpiar la Tabla para ensalada de repollo y triturador de repollo, lávela
a mano con agua tibia y jabonosa. Enjuáguela con agua limpia y séquela de
inmediato.
wPRECAUCIÓN ¡HOJAS FILOSAS! ¡Evite cualquier contacto con las hojas
losas! Este producto NO es apto para el lavavajilla.
NOTA: Para prevenir la corrosión, es muy recomendable recubrir las hojas
con una silicona en aerosol apta para uso alimentario.

mano de obra necesaria para su diagnóstico y reparación, todo lo anterior sin costo adicional para el consumidor.
• Esta garantía incluye los gastos de transportación del producto que deriven de su cumplimiento dentro de su red de servicio.
LIMITACIONES
• Esta garantía no ampara el reemplazo de piezas deterioradas por uso o por desgaste normal, como son: cuchillas, vasos, jarras,
filtros, etc.
• Grupo HB PS, S.A. de C.V. no se hace responsable por los accidentes producidos a consecuencia de una instalación eléctrica
defectuosa, ausencia de toma de tierra, clavija o enchufe en mal estado, etc.
EXCEPCIONES
Esta garantía no será efectiva en los siguientes casos:
a) Cuando el producto se hubiese utlizado en condiciones distintas a las normales. (Uso industrial, semi-industrial o comercial.)
b) Cuando el producto no hubiese sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
c) Cuando el producto hubiese sido alterado o reparado por personas no autorizadas por Grupo HB PS, S.A. de C.V. el
fabricante nacional, importador o comercializador responsable respectivo.
El consumidor puede solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde adquirió su producto, siempre y
cuando Grupo HB PS, S.A. de C.V. no cuente con talleres de servicio.
