Bei Kabel NYFGY:
FlachdrahtbewehrungensindgemäßVDE0100zuüberbrücken.HierzuisoliertenKupferleiter(H07V-V,
H07V-K)mitmindestens6mm2QuerschnittandenEndenabisolierenundaufbeidenSeitenderBeweh-
rungmiteinemDrahtbundoderRollfedernfestlegen.
Aderisolierungen,VerbinderundaufgerauteKabelmäntelgründlichsäubern.
III. Isolationsabstände
ZwischendenVerbindernmussmindestens5mmZwischenraumliegen.
BeidenMuenvomTypMU1bisMU5liegenhierfürDistanzplattenbei(sieheSkizze).
DistanzplattenversetztzwischendieVerbinderschiebenundausrichten.
Der Isolationsabstand zwischen Gießform und Verbinder muss mindestens 5 mm
betragen.

IV. Montage der Gießform

V. VergießendesHarzesundInbetriebnahmederMue
GießharzgemäßbeiliegenderVerarbeitungsanleitungmischenundüberdenEinfülltrichterlangsam
eingießen.
DieMueistsofort(0,6/1kV)betriebsbereit.
Bis10kVeineAushärtezeitvon45Minutenbeachten.
EinfülltrichterentfernenundVerschlusskappeaufsetzen.

Procedure:
I. Preparing the cable and the casting mould
1. Cutbackthecablecasingandwovenllerasshowninthetableabove.
2. Spreadtheleads,crossingthemoverifnecessaryandshortentothecentreofthemould.
3. Cutothesteppedmouldprojectionsaccordingtocablediameterplus1–2mmextraallowance.
4. Thoroughlyroughenthecablecasingwithinthemouldusingeitherawirebrushor60or80grade
emerycloth.
5. Removetheinsulationfromthecableleadstohalfthelengthoftheconnectors,plus5mmallowance
forcopperleadsand10mmforaluminiumleads.

II. Making the electrical connections
Connecttheleadswiththehelpofscrew-,solder-,crimped-orcompression-connectors.
Thoroughlycleanoanycontactgreasewhichmayescape.
For cable NYFGY:
InaccordancewithVDE0100,theatwiresheathingmustbebridged.Forthis,trimtheinsulationoboth
endsofaninsulatedcopperlead(H07V-V,H07V-K)ofatleast6mm2cross-sectionandfastentoboth
sidesofthearmouringwithawirering,acircliporascrollspring.
Thoroughlycleanleadinsulations,connectorsandroughenedcablecasing.
III. Insulation spacings
Theremustbeaspacingofatleast5mmbetweentheconnectors.
ForsleevesMU1toMU5,therearespacersprovidedforthispurpose(seesketch).
Insertthespacersosetbetweentheconnectorsandadjustthem.
The insulating spacing between the mould and the connectors must be at least 5 mm.

IV. Fitting the casting mould
1. Foldthetwohalvesofthecastingmouldtogetherovertheconnection.
2. Checktheinsulationspacingswithcare(itwillbepossibletorevolvethemould).
3. Sealthecableinletswithinsulatingtape(seesketch).
V. Pouring the resin and putting the sleeve to use
Mixthecastingresininaccordancewiththeattachedapplicationinstructionsandpourslowlyintotheller
funnel.
Thesleeveisimmediatelyreadyforuse(0.6/1kV).
Forcurrentofupto10kV,observeacuringtimeof45minutes.
Removethellerfunnelandputontheclosure.
VI. Scope of delivery
Casting moulds, insulating tape, pouch of casting resin, spacers
(MU1toMU6),protectiveglovesandclosure.
