The trimmer is intended for beard cutting and removing of
facial or body hair.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Thoroughly read through this instruction manual before
using the unit and keep it for future reference throughout
the whole operation period. Use the unit for its intended
purposes only, as specified in this manual. Mishandling of
the unit may lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user
or damage to property.
• Before connecting the unit to the mains for the first time to
charge the battery, make sure that your home mains volt-
age corresponds to the power adapter operating voltage.
• The power adapter cord must not:
– touch hot objects and surfaces,
– be immersed into water;
– extend over sharp furniture edges;
– be used as a handle for carrying the unit.
• Do not touch the power adapter cord and the power
adapter body with wet hands during the unit operation
or charging.
• Use the unit to cut only dry hair.
• Use the unit to cut only natural human hair.
• Do not use the unit to cut artificial or animal hair.
• Use only the attachment and the adapter supplied.
• Do not use the unit in places with high temperature and
relative humidity more than 80%.
• Do not use the unit outdoors.
• Charge the battery at the temperature from +5°C to
+35°C.
• Do not use the unit if the attachment or the blades are
damaged.

ATTENTION! Keep the unit dry. Never immerse the unit into
water or any other liquids.
• Before the operation make sure that the blade block and
the attachment (6) are installed properly.
• Switch the unit off before installing or removing the
attachment (6) or the blade block.
• During the battery charging do not use the unit near a
bath/shower and containers filled with water.
• If the unit is dropped into water, unplug the power
adapter immediately, and only then take the unit out of
the water.
• Always keep the blades clean and lubricated.
• After each using remove cut-off hair from the attachment
(6) and the blade block with the brush supplied.
• Never leave the operating unit unattended.
• Switch the unit off during intervals in operation or when
you are not using it.
• Do not allow children to touch the power adapter body
while the battery is being charged.
• Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the
unit as a toy.
• This unit is not intended for usage by children.
• During the unit operation and breaks between operation
cycles, place the unit out of reach of children and people
with disabilities.
• The unit is not intended to be used by people with physi-
cal, sensory or mental disabilities (including children) or
by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are
not under supervision of a person who is responsible for
their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on
the usage of the unit.
• Close supervision is necessary when children or disabled
persons are near the operating unit.
• For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene
bags used as a packaging unattended.
ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene
bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
• Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the
unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it
was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized
service center from the contact address list given in the
warranty certificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
• To avoid damages, transport the unit in the original pack-
age only.

• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children
and disabled persons.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
ITS COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION
AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature
keep it for at least three hours at room temperature
before switching on.
– Unpack the unit completely, remove any package materi-
als and advertising stickers that prevent the unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use a damaged unit.
– Before plugging the trimmer in to charge the battery,
make sure that voltage of the mains corresponds to the
power adapter operating voltage.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC system and
50 or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does not need any addi-
tional settings for operating with the required nominal
frequency.
– Charge the battery and lubricate the blade block of the
attachment (6) following the recommendations below.
Battery charging
– Insert the power adapter (9) cord plug into the connec-
tion socket (5).
– Place the trimmer on a flat stable surface.
– Plug the power adapter (9) into the mains socket, the
charging indicator (4) will light up red.
– Full charging of the rechargeable battery takes about
2 hours.
– Full charging of the accumulator battery is enough
approximately for 60 minutes of continuous operation.
– After the battery is charged, the charge indicator (4) will
light up in blue. Disconnect the power adapter (9) from
the mains and the jack from the socket (5).
WARNING:
– Do not charge the battery at temperature below +5°C
and above +35°C.
– If you haven’t used the unit for a month or longer, charge
the battery completely before using the trimmer.
– Do not leave the unit connected to the mains unat-
tended.

LUBRICATING THE BLADE BLOCK
Before using the unit for the first time lubricate the blade
block (6) of the attachment with oil (7) (supplied with the
unit).
– Apply the lubricating oil (7) to the junctions between the
fixed and moving parts of the blades.
– Switch the trimmer on by pressing on the switch (3) and
let it operate for approximately 30 seconds to spread the
oil across the rubbing surfaces. Switch the trimmer off
by pressing on the switch (3) and remove the excess oil
with a dry cloth or a paper towel.
Notes:
– Lubricate the blade block (6) after every use of the trim-
mer.
– For lubricating the blades use only the oil (7) supplied
with the unit, or the oil intended for similar devices.
– Do not use vegetable oil or oil with solvents. Solvents will
evaporate, and the remaining thick oil may slow down the
blades motion.
USING THE TRIMMER
• The best shaving results are achieved if your skin is dry.
• Switch the trimmer on by pressing on the power switch
(3).
• Make sure that the blade block (6) is perpendicular to
your skin, then move the attachment with the blade
block (6) with simultaneous reciprocating movements.
Use both edges of the blade for making sharp lines and
perfect edges.
• To accentuate the sideburns or the area around the
mouth or nose hold the trimmer with one of the blade
edges touching the skin. This technique will allow you to
create sharp edges or lines.
• After shaving switch the trimmer off by pressing on the
power switch (3).
• Clean the blade block of the attachment (6) with the
cleaning brush (8) after every use.
HAIR LENGTH ADJUSTMENT
The length adjuster (2) allows you to adjust the height of the
remaining hairs from 0.5 mm to 10 mm: 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5/3/
3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5/6/6.5/7/7.5/8/8.5/9/9.5/10 mm.
• When you use the length adjuster (2) for the first time, it
is recommended to set the maximal remaining hair length

«10» to learn about this trimmer system. During further use
of the length adjuster (2) you can set the required remaining
hair length from 0.5 to 10 mm with a step 0.5 mm.
• Insert the blade block attachment (6) into the body (1),
press the upper part of the attachment (6) until the lock
clicking. Set the remaining hair length by turning the
control knob (2) counter/clockwise.
• When cutting hair make sure that the flat part of the
attachment (6) is in full contact with the skin for even hair
cutting.
Notes: - as hair grows in different directions, you can try
various movements of the attachment (6) upwards, down-
wards, to the left or to the right.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
– Switch the trimmer off after use.
– Remove the installed attachment (6), to do this lift the
rear part of the attachment and remove it.
– Clean the attachment (6) off hair with the brush (8).
– The blade block (6) of the attachment (6) can be rinsed
under running water.
– Clean the trimmer body with a soft, slightly damp cloth,
and then wipe it dry.
– Never immerse the trimmer, the power adapter (9) and
the power cord into water or any other liquids.
– Never use solvents or abrasives to clean the trimmer and
the blade block attachment (6).
– Lubricate the blade block (6) after every use with the
lubricating oil (7).
STORAGE
– Clean the unit and lubricate the blades with the lubricat-
ing oil (7) before taking it away for storage.
– Keep the unit in a dry cool place away from children and
disabled persons.
