1. Introduction
Product Overview
Ventra BCR-400 Body Ca era is a full-featured body worn ca era designed for various
application in both private and public sector. It features vivid 1080P HD video recording and
high resolution egapixel still i age capture.
The BCR-400 also features e bedded 32GB storage for extended recording capacity. A high
capacity built-in Li-Ion battery provides continuous recording of up to 6 hours and long standby
ti e. An e bedded Passive GPS which when in outdoor environ ent and acquires signal, will
record the coordinates onto the video*.
BCR-400 does not require special software. Si ply record and playback directly on the ca era,
or connect it to a PC via USB cable and view recordings via standard edia player.
For convenience, a charging dock is included which connects to the 5V power supply or PC via
USB cable**.
*The BCR ust be outdoors and within satellite signal range in order to receive and record the
coordinates. Satellite signal acquisition ay vary widely dependent upon environ ent,
location and other factors.
Ti e to acquire signal can range anywhere fro 1 inute to 10 inutes. So while the video is
recording when outdoors, the BCR ay not have acquired the signal and or recorded the
coordinates.
**The charging dock is currently used solely for charging. Optional syste connection to PC for
file access ay be offered or developed in the future at Ventra’s discretion.

5. Main Setting Menu
To enter the settings menu:
1. Press Menu ( ) button on the rear of the BCR and enter the password
2. Enter the password by using the following co ands:
•Press Scroll Up ( ) button to change the character to the previous letter or nu ber
•Press Menu ( ) button to change the character to the next letter or nu ber
•Press OK ( ) button to ove to the next character
The default password is 000000
3. After selecting the last character, press OK ( ) button to enter the setting enu
To navigate the settings menu:
1. Press Menu ( ) button to select next setting or option
2. Press Scroll Up ( ) button to select the previous setting or option
3. Press OK ( ) button to ove to confir your selection or enter the sub- enu
4. Press Power ( ) button to return to the previous enu without changing anything
