The Ultima Twist Dry Glove System contains of two suit rings, two glove rings, four cover rings, two
equalization tubes and six o-rings, a tool and glove ring lubricant.
Fits directly in WATERPROOF suits with SI TECH QCS oval ring system and all drysuits with standard latex
seals.

Before using this system, it is imperative to have received the appropriate dive training and obtained a diving
certificate issued by an approved organisation. WATERPROOF does not accept any responsibility in the event
of an incident caused due to lack of training, misuse or unsuitable usage.
USER MANUAL
These instructions cover the Waterproof Dry Glove System ULTIMA Twist for dry diving suits according to
EN14225-2.
DESIGNATED USE
This Ultima Twist Dry Glove System is approved for Waterproof drysuits with FlexLock™ system, SI TECH QCS
Oval System or Latex wrist seals. In combination with insulating dry glove, the Ultima system will provide your
hands with thermal protection in and under water. Ask Waterproof for suitable dry gloves: info@waterproof.eu.
STORAGE
Store away from sources of UV radiation (mainly sunlight). Optimal storage conditions: 65% humidity, 21° C,
protected from light and without mechanical, chemical and physical influences. Inspect regularly (every six
months).
OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE -2° C to 30° C
CAUTION!
Prolonged exposure to heat or UV rays can cause plastic decomposition.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Rinse and clean the dry glove system with fresh cold water after each dive. Pay extra attention to the large
sealing o-ring inside the glove ring. Never drop your ring system on any hard surfaces, this may cause the parts
to break. Be extra careful of the sealing parts on the suit ring and glove ring. If it becomes hard to don and doff,
add some Silicone grease to the sealing o-ring.
Replace all o-rings after 30 months or when signs of cracks or damage are visible.

PRE DIVE CHECK
Always dive with wrist seals installed.
Make sure the sealing o-ring is clean and intact before mounting the glove ring.
Check before every dive everything is mounted correctly and gloves and seals are intact.
Check the equalization tube is installed to equalize the pressure between suit and glove.
Make sure you visually check the glove ring is mounted correctly and close to the suit ring on all sides before
diving.
A correct alignment of the glove to the glove ring makes the twist-opening procedure easier when taking off the
gloves after the dive.
ALIGN THE GLOVE TO THE GLOVE RING
1. Put the glove on and make a mark
that aligns with the center of the palm.
2. Align the protruding part of the Ultima glove ring to the mark on the glove. See mounting procedure on the
next pages.
MOUNTING A LATEX OR NITRILE DRY GLOVE TO THE GLOVE RING
1. Put the glove ring in the glove and turn it as
shown in the image. Adjust the overlap to achieve
the correct length of the glove. Make sure to align
the glove mark to the center of protruding part on
the glove ring.
2. Mount the o-ring in the groove.
3. Fold the edge back over the o-ring and pull to
adjust the overlap.
Mount the cover ring and adjust it to fit in the
groove next to the o-ring.

MOUNTING A PVC/FABRIC GLOVE TO THE GLOVE RING
1. First, mount the glove ring on the suit ring. Ask a
friend to hold the glove ring firmly during installation,
it is very difficult to do it on your own.
2. Place the o-ring inside the glove opening to the
desired length of the glove, and fold the edge
inwards.
3. Open the glove and o-ring by pulling with both
hands firmly to make it as large as possible.
4. Make sure to align the glove mark to the center of
protruding part on the glove ring. Use all four hands
to pull it over the ridge.
5. Check that the glove is correctly mounted and has
the desired length. Adjust the glove length and angle
by pulling the glove edge inside and at the same
time lifting the o-ring on the outside.
6. Mount the cover ring.

Note: If you have difficulties in assembling a
PVC/fabric glove on the glove ring, we recommend the
"Ultima Twist Assembly Tool". The practical assembly
tool from SplashLight GmbH allows you to mount the
glove effortlessly and easily.

The Ultima Twist for FlexLock™ is designed to fit directly into the Waterproof FlexLock™ system.
MOUNTING ULTIMA IN FLEXLOCK™ SYSTEM
1. Fold the top part of the cuff up and open the zipper all
the way around the wrist until you can remove the cuff.
