4. Assembly Procedure / Montageanweisung
4.1 Preparing of connector and stripping of Industrial Ethernet cable /
Vorbereiten des Steckverbinders und abisolieren des Industrial Ethernet Kabels
xPut the Angle Part with Nut and the Case on the cable, afterward stripping cable.
Aufstecken des Winkelstücks mit Mutter und des Gehäuses auf das Kabel, danach abisolieren.

Note: Ensure the wire is inserted deep enough towards the Wire Guide stop.

4.2 Connecting the Industrial Ethernet Cable / Anschließen der Industrial Ethernet Leitung
xInsert the signal conductors into the Wire Guide and pay attention to color coding.
Einführen der Einzeladern in die Kabelführung, hierbei auf richtige Farbzuordung achten.
xClamp the upper 4 signal wires and cut as short as possible within area of color code
(only Core 8 P Gigabit) .
Einklemmen der oberen 4 Einzeladern und möglichst kurz abschneiden im Bereich der Farbkodierung
(nur für Core 8 P Gigabit).

xClose the connector parts to contact the wire.
Kontaktieren der Leitung durch Schließen der Steckverbinderhälften.
Note: For correct connection the connector parts must be closed completely. The cable braid shield
must be adjusted as shown in the figure above.
Hinweis: Die Steckverbinderhälften müssen zur korrekten Kontaktierung der Adern vollständig
geschlossen sein. Das Schirmgeflecht sollte entsprechend der obigen Darstellung positioniert
werden.
4.3 Finale assembly of the Connector / Endmontage der Steckverbindereinheit
xLead the Case IP20 over the Insert towards it snaps in with an audible click
Das Gehäuse IP20 über den Einsatz schieben bis es hörbar einrastet
Note: Pay attention to the orientation and hold down the locking spring, so that the locking
spring of Case IP 20 is placed under the hook of Insert
Hinweis: Auf korrekte Orientierung achten und durch Niederhalten der Rastfeder sicherstellen,
dass die Rastfeder des Gehäuses IP20 unter dem Haken vom Einsatz liegt.

xAssemble and snap in to the Angle Part with Nut.
Einsetzen und Verrasten des Winkelstücks mit Mutter.
xTighten the nut by screwing.
Festziehen der Kabelverschraubung.
5. Subsequent changing to direction of cable outlet (optionally)/ nachträgliche Änderung des
Kabelabganges (optional)
xSolve the nut and disengage the Angle Part with a screw driver.
Lösen der Mutter und Abhebeln des Winkelstückes mit einem Schraubendreher.

xRotate the Angle Part by 90° and assemble again according note 4.3 step 2 and 3.
Verdrehen des Winkelstücks um 90° und wieder montieren nach Abschnitt 4.3 Schritt 2 und 3.
