Speaker Controls
Buttons / Input-Output Ports
POWER SWITCH
Slide the ON/OFF switch to POWER ON. Light indicator will turn green.
VOLUME CONTROLS
Press and Hold the PLUS “+” and MINUS “-“ buttons to Increase and Decrease volume.
PLAY/ PAUSE BUTTON
Use this button to control music play or pause.
CALL PICK UP/END BUTTON
Use this button to answer or end a call.
1. IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES
- Avoid liquids from entering the speaker
- Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use near heat sources.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose this device to rain or moisture.
- Protect the charging cables from damage.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Do not expose the speaker to open flames.
2. POWER UP / CHARGING
For best results, fully charge your TS-457 speakerbefore use. A full charge takes up to 4 hours.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to POWER ON. Light indicator will turn green. Blue LED light will flash to
indicate the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
FOR A FULL CHARGE
Plug the speaker into your wall charger or computer via micro USB cable.
The LED light will flash red WHEN THE BATTERY IS LOW.
The LED light is solid red WHEN THE BATTERY IS CHARGING.
The LED light will turn off WHEN THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED.
3. GET CONNECTED
CONNECTION OPTIONS
TS-457 Speaker offers two connection options, wirelessly via Bluetooth® or wired via 3.5mm stereo input.
Incoming and outgoing calls will always take precedence over audio playback. Audio content via 3.5mm
stereo input will override wireless audio via Bluetooth.
3.1 AUX-IN CONNECTION
TS-457 comes with one Aux-In port to connect it to non-Bluetooth devices, such as, mobile phones, MP3
players, PCs and laptops with a 3.5mm jack audio cable. Connect the 3.5 mm Aux-In cable (included) to
the speaker and to the audio device. The LED light will turn green in Aux-In mode.
Under Bluetooth mode when the 3.5mm Aux-In cable is inserted, the speaker will switch to wired mode
automatically and will exit Bluetooth mode.
In Aux-In connection mode, the speaker’s control panel functions, such as MUSIC PLAY/ PAUSE,
VOLUME & TRACK CONTROLS are not functional. These functions can only be controlled from your
audio source.
Please note that the built-in microphone is only functional in Bluetooth connection mode and does not
function in Aux-In mode.
3.2 WIRELESS BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
TS-457 can wirelessly stream audio from any Bluetooth device within 33 ft of range.
1. Turn on the speaker.
2. Activate Bluetooth function on your device.
3. Go to Bluetooth settings on your device and scan for new Bluetooth devices.
4. Turcom TS-457 should appear on the list of available Bluetooth devices. Click on TS-457 to pair.
5. If your device requires a pairing code, enter “0000” and confirm.
6. After successful pairing, your speaker will sound a prompt tone and the flashing LED light will stop
flashing.
Note: Pairing time is varies between different devices. Once the speaker successfully pairs with a device,
it will auto connect to those devices that were already paired before. The speaker only can only store in
memory the last 8 paired devices.
4. GETTING THE BEST AUDIO EXPERIENCE
For best possible sound, make sure your TS-457 is resting on its base and the speaker grill facing
towards you.
When connected wirelessly via Bluetooth®, it’s best to maximize the volume on your phone/device and
control the volume to the desired level on the speaker.
When connected via 3.5mm stereo input, your phone/device may distort the audio signal if turned up too
loud. It is recommended that the source volume is left at less than maximum level.
5. HANDS-FREE PHONE FUNCTION
TS-457 can be used as a wireless speakerphone. Just speak in the direction of the front grill. The built-in
microphone only works when connected via Bluetooth®.
5.1 ANSWER/END A CALL: Press the PHONE CALL BUTTON to answer and end a call.
5.2 DECLINE AN INCOMING CALL: Press and Hold the PHONE CALL BUTTON for 2 seconds.
5.3 MAKE A CALL: Use your phone to dial as usual. Listen and talk through your speaker.
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. SOUND DISTORTION
A. Lower the volume on the speakerand/or phone/device.
B. Make sure the speaker is charged.
2. NOT LOUD ENOUGH
A. Turn up the volume on your phone/device or the speaker.
B. Make sure the speaker is charged.
3. UNABLE TO PAIR WITH BLUETOOTH® DEVICE
A. Confirm that your phone/device is Bluetooth compatible.
B. Follow Section 3 GET CONNECTED instructions in this guide.
4. EXPERIENCING SIGNAL LOSS OR DROPOUTS VIA BLUETOOTH
A. Move TS-457 closer to your phone/device.
B. Make sure the speaker is charged.
C. Turn off the speaker and phone/device, then power up and reconnect.

•Do not expose TS-457 Speaker to liquid, moisture, humidity, or rain. Do not use TS-457 Speaker near a
bathtub, sink, sauna, pool, or steam room. Exposure of TS-457 Speaker to moisture could result in
electric shock.
• Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave, incinerate, paint, or
insert foreign objects in to TS-457 Speaker. Such actions could result in electric shock.
• Clean TS-457 Speaker only with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not expose TS-457 Speaker to extremely high or low temperatures.
• Do not leave TS-457 Speaker in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
• Do not leave TS-457 Speaker near open flames.
• Do not dispose of TS-457 Speaker in a fire. The battery could explode causing injury or death.
• Only charge the battery in accordance with the user instructions supplied with TS-457 Speaker.
•Do not charge TS-457 Speaker in damp areas or in extremely high or low temperatures to prevent
potential electric shock.
• Do not clean TS-457 Speaker when it is being charged. Always unplug the charger before cleaning.
• Do not place TS-457 Speaker on high surfaces such as shelves. During music playback TS-457
Speaker may shift its position and possibly fall.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean TS-457 Speaker.
• Do not insert anything into TS-457 Speaker unless otherwise specified in the user instructions. This may
damage the internal components.
• Do not attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble TS-457 Speaker yourself, it does not contain any user-
serviceable components.
• Do not attempt to replace TS-457 Speaker battery, it is built-in and is not changeable.
• Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in
designated areas.
• Dispose of TS-457 Speaker in accordance with local regulations. Do not dispose of the battery with
regular household waste.
