The ARK 100 is the first in the new series of Tritton headsets, designed specifically to address the evolving
needs of the modern gamer. Comfort, audio quality and customisation have all been given special attention
and are covered under the three key innovations that are present on all of the ARK series:
Audionomics
The unique monocurve design of the ARK series has been
extensively tested and tuned to offer the perfect fit; both to
ensure the perfect audio response of the speakers and, most
importantly, enhanced comfort over long gaming sessions. The
acoustic chambers slide within the monocurve enabling
adjustment for different head sizes, whilst the exterior always
retains its powerful, unique profile.
R: Drive
The ARK series house multiple drivers in both left and right
acoustic chambers. The ARK 100 has four neodymium drivers in
total, housing a 60 mm and a 10 mm driver in each side. Each
driver handles the frequencies it was designed for; the 60 mm is
dedicated to superior bass and mid-range response, whilst the 10
mm handles higher frequencies. This implementation is a world
first for gaming headsets and results in a far richer, precision
audio experience.
Kameleon
Accelerometer-based control of color and brightness means that
you can customize the headset with ease; simply tilt until you have
the color and brightness you desire. You can also control the speed
of LED effects, such as breathing, heartbeat and color cycling. The
motion-dynamic adjustment offers an intuitive, engaging way to
customize your headset and make it your own.

4
The ARK 100 PC takes all of the cutting-edge design and
innovation of the ARK 100 for console and brings it to the PC
platform. This version comes with an integrated high-fidelity USB
sound card. When coupled with our Tritton Audio Centre
software, users can experience immersive 7.1 surround sound
audio, for a broader soundscape and enhanced directional
placement of crucial in-game sounds.
Audionomics –Unique monocurve design unifies audio fidelity and ergonomics for the ultimate sound
experience and comfort
R: Drive –Multi-speaker configuration delivers the ultimate in powerful precision audio
Kameleon –Motion-dynamic RGB lighting allows you to customize your headset with ease
3 EQ Modes –Choose the audio soundstage that’s right for you and your game

Quick Start Guide

This section will provide you with an overview of all of the controls, indicators and features that make up the
product.
ARK 100 has 7 conveniently placed controls that give you total control over your audio experience. The controls
and lighting will only function when the product is used as a USB headset. If the headset is used with the 3.5
mm cable the headset will work for stereo audio and microphone input.
The volume buttons directly alter the playback volume of the USB soundcard that is integrated into the headset.
Each button press will alter the volume in 2% increments.
This button toggles our immersive 7.1 surround sound feature on or off. The button will only function once the
Tritton Audio software is downloaded and installed. When enabled, you will be able to hear the difference as
your game and movie audio becomes more expansive.
The headset has three pre-defined EQ settings that let you alter the audio response of the headset. Press the
EQ button to cycle through the 3 EQ modes. You will be able to hear the difference on most audio sources but
in case you’re not sure, each mode has a colour indicator that plays out on the headset LEDs.
Optimal = Finely tuned balance of Bass and Treble.
Bass Boost = Boosted low frequencies for extra immersion.
Treble Boost = Boosted high frequencies, ideal for picking up extra detail in the audio.
Mic Mute is pretty self-explanatory; a single press of the button will toggle whether or not the mic is active.
When the mic is muted, a red LED situated in the tip of the mic boom, will illuminate.

6
A 2 second press will enable or disable Selective Voice Monitoring (SVM). This has long been a feature on
Tritton headsets, and allows the user to hear what they’re saying through their headset. It is especially useful
to help avoid shouting –something all too easy to do with the passive noise isolation provided by the ear
cushions on the ARK series.
A single white flash = SVM On.
A double white flash = SVM Off.
The Kameleon lighting is adjusted using two buttons. The first is the RGB Colour/Brightness button and this
allows you to set both the colour and the brightness of the LEDs as follows:
1. Press the button once –you’re now in colour set mode.
2. Tilt the headset backwards and forwards to change colour –over a 180-degree arc from forwards to
backwards there are 13 different colours available from red to white.
3. Once you’re happy with the colour you want, press the button again to set the colour. Now you’re in
brightness setting mode.
4. Tilt the headset to set the brightness –forwards increases the brightness, backwards decreases it.
5. Press the button again to lock both the colour and brightness of the LEDs.
If you want to turn the LEDs off, then press and hold the RGB Colour/Brightness button for 2 seconds.
The ARK 100 also features 5 lighting effect settings, that include:
Breathing
Heartbeat
RGB Cycle
RGB Random Cycle
Single Colour
Simply tap the RGB Effect button to step through them. For everything except the single colour, you can alter
the speed at which the effect cycles –just press and hold the RGB Effect button and tilt the headset. Forwards
is the quickest speed and backwards the slowest.

A powerful software application for ARK 100 is supplied for Windows users. It allows users to configure the
audio performance settings of the product to create game-specific profiles. The following section will tell you
everything you need to know to be able to customize the product.

10
When you first load up the app, it will look like this:
Key Elements:
1. Running along the top of the app is the audio status panel. This lets you know, at a glance, what features
are enabled on the product. The arrow button in the bottom right hand corner of the audio status panel
toggles between that and the audio profile menu.
2. To the right of the audio status panel is the master volume
slider. This controls the audio output level of the USB sound
card. Clicking the speaker icon will toggle the mute status.
3. Directly above the master volume slider the application
menu buttons. These consist of the usual close and
minimize buttons. There is also an info button to show
software versions and an application settings button for
setting system tray icon preferences and languages.
4. Running down the left hand side of the application window
are the Speaker and Mic icons. Left-click, or right-click
these icons to revel a menu of features that can be
configured. Left-click the feature from the menu to select it
for editing. Once selected, the controls for the associated
feature will be displayed in the central area of the
application window.
