STEP 10 - Attach gasket material along the flanges
of the filter cabinet that will mate to the furnace
cabinet.
STEP 11 - Matching the filter cabinet flush to the
back edge and the bottom edge. Attach the filter
cabinet to the furnace cabinet.
STEP 12 - Mark the two areas to be cut out for
the side return and bottom return. Make sure not
to extend past the corner guides on the furnace
cabinet.
NOTE: The size of the cutouts will vary on the size
of the filter cabinet size.
STEP 13 - Cut out the cabinet side along the marks
for the side cutout. Cut out the BAYLIFT side
panel along the marks for the bottom return cutout.
Important: Do not cut out the furnace cabinet
material in any other place outside of the marked
area.
Important: The filter cabinet must not cover a
used electric or condensate outlet. If the filter cabi-
net extends over the outlets, then the outlets on the
opposite side of the cabinet must be used for the
condensate and electric connections. Plastic plugs
must be in place and sealed when a filter box or
return duct is connected and covers any portion of
an opening.
