The ACME thread golf sprinkler body requires an ACME thread swing joint for connection to the piping system. The ACME swing
joint has an o-ring on the exit fitting that provides a watertight seal inside the sprinkler body when properly assembled.
With the ACME fitting, it is important to note that thread sealants such as TeflonTM tape or pipe dope are not required and
should not be used during assembly.
Important! For ease of assembly and to ensure proper sealing, moisten the o-ring with clean water just prior to installation.
To Install full-circle sprinklers:
Screw the sprinkler body clockwise onto the ACME swing joint exit fitting until it
stops. No further tightening is required.
To Install part-circle sprinklers:
Screw the sprinkler body clockwise onto the ACME swing joint exit fitting until it
stops. If necessary, adjust the left (fixed) side of the sprinkler arc by turning the body
counterclockwise up to 3⁄4turn.
Caution: Leakage between the swing joint exit fitting and the sprinkler body
may indicate that the o-ring is improperly seated, missing, damaged and/or the
sprinkler body is not completely installed.
If leakage is observed, perform the following procedure:
1. Shut off and relieve system water pressure.
2. Remove the sprinkler from the swing joint fitting.
3. Verify that the o-ring is undamaged and is properly seated in the o-ring groove.
(Replace the o-ring if necessary.)
4. Moisten the o-ring with water, reinstall the sprinkler, repressurize the system and
check for leakage.

O-Ring

O-Ring
El aspersor de rosca ACME requiere un adaptador swing ACME para conectarse al sistema de riego.
El adaptador swing ACME tiene un anillo de goma en la salida que provee un sello adentro del aspersor cuando es instalado
correctamente.
Con la rosca ACME es importante que selladores como TeflonTM no son requeridos y no deben usarse durante la instalacion.
Importante! Para facilitar la instalacion y asegurar un sello apropiado, moje el anillo de goma con agua limpia antes de instalar.
Para instalar aspersores de circulo completo:
Instale el aspersor en el adaptador swing y enrosce hacia la derecha hasta que pare
de dar vuelta. No es necesario apretar mas.
Para instalar aspersores sectoriales:
Instale el aspersor en el adaptador swing y enrosce hacia la derecha haste que pare
de dar vuelta. Si es necesario, ajuste el lado fijo del arco volteando el aspersor hacia
la izquerda un maximo de 3/4 vuelta.
Atencion: Fuga entre el aspersor y el adaptador swing puede indicar que el
anillo de goma no este instalado correctamente, puede que este dañado o el
aspersor no este completamente enroscado.
Si observe una fuga, siga los pasos siguentes:
1. Apage el sistema y deje escaper toda la presion.
2. Remueva el aspersor del adaptador swing ACME.
3. Verifique que el anillo de goma no este dañado y este instalado correctamente.
(Reemplace el anillo de goma si es necesario.)
4. Moje el anillo de goma con agua limpia, instale el aspersor y prenda el sistema
de presion.
