Installation oftheOpener
Caution:
*Besurethattheopenerisinstalledinaleveland
paralleledposition. Improperinstallationcouldresult
inpropertydamage, severeinjury,and/ordeath.
*Beforestarting installation,ensurethatthereisno
pointoffriction duringtheentiremovementofthe
gateand thereisno dangerof derailment.
*Ensurethat thesafetysiderollersarepresent.
NecessaryTools: Thefollowingtoolsmaybe
necessarytoinstall the Gateopener. You willneed
screwdrivers,an electricdrill,wirecuttersand awire
stripper, asocketset, and possiblyaccess toa
welder.
Wheninstallthe opener, you shouldbuildaconcrete
pad tosupport the base plateofopenerinorderto
maintainproper stability.
Theinstallation proceedsareas follows:
1. Assemblethe Base Plateand fixthe Openertothe
BasePlate.
2.Digaholeforaconcretepad whichshouldbe
approximately60 x32 x35cm(24〞x13〞x14〞). It
mayprotrude 10 cm(4”)aboveground and 25 cm
(10”)indepthunderground.Increase the pad heightif
necessarytoprotectthe system from flooding,heavy
snow etc.
3. Prepareone ormoreconduitsforthe electrical
cables beforepourconcrete.Rememberthatcable
conduitshavetopassthrough the holeonthe base.
4. Pourconcreteand beforeitstartstoharden,check
that it isparalleltothe gateleafandperfectlylevel.
5. Marktheposition offourexpansion anchors
accordingtothe position ofmounting holeonthe base
plate.Doublecheckyourmarking,movethe base
plateand drillthe 4holes using a14mm(0.55”)
masonrybit. Put the 4expansion anchors(provided)intothe holes andfirmlytighten.
6.Mount thebaseplatetotheconcretePadand firmlytighten, enabling theopenerisfirmlysecured
on theconcretepadduring thewholegatetravel.
ManualOperation
You can openthe gatebymanualwhenpowerfailure.And the openershouldbe putinthe manual
(emergencyrelease) position beforefittingthe rack, installingthe opener andlimit switch. The process isas
follows:
Insert the ReleaseKeyandturnit inclockwise 90°, then pull therelease handleinclockwise 90°to
disengage the clutch between the gear shaft and motor. Now the opener isinthe manualoperation.
