■Ensure the exhaust manifold contact surface on the cylinder head is free of debris.
Any debris should be removed using a scraper or similar tool to ensure a secure, leak-free fit.
■The washers should be installed with the flat side facing the flange and the
side with the rounded edge, facing the nut.
2. Connect the turbo charger coolant and oil lines to the engine using the included copper washers.
[19.6～31.4N・m(2.0～3.2kgf-m)]
■When connecting the hoses to the engine, do not use excessive force to tighten the eye bolts as
this may damage the screw thread.
4．REINSTALLING THE SURROUNDING COMPONENTS
1. Reinstall any surrounding components that were removed when removing the stock exhaust
manifold and downpipe.
Ensure you use the included compressor IN gasket.
Ensure there is sufficient clearance between
the blow-by separator and the 4th exhaust runner.
If there is insufficient clearance, enlarge the blow-by
separator mounting holes using a file or rotary tool
then off-set the unit until sufficient clearance is achieved.
Heat protection should also be used where necessary.
(2)Attaching the EAI control valve.
The EAI control valve cannot be used in the stock location after this product is installed.
To utilize the EAI control valve, it will need to be relocated and the outlet pipe will also need modifying.
■Ensure you wear/use the appropriate safety gear when carrying out any modifications.
2. Refill/top-up the engine coolant fluid.
Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
■Ensure sufficient clearance and correct fitment has been achieved before completely tightening down
the fastenings. In some cases, there may be insufficient clearance due to minor differences between
individual vehicles. In such a case, loosen the fastenings of each component and adjust the positioning
until sufficient clearance is achieved before retightening the fastenings again.
■Ensure you clean the exhaust after installation. Using the exhaust whilst there is oil or other
debris on it can cause blemishes and/or burn marks.
■Heat protection should be applied/installed as necessary.
