INTRODUCTION
Le terme Shiatsu signifie « Pression des doigts » en japonais.
Le massage Shiatsu est à la fois décontractant et énergisant. Il dénoue les nœuds et les tensions musculaires ;
il stimule la circulation sanguine.
Le masseur Shiatsu de Terraillon, reproduit le mouvement de deux mains expertes en massage. Il alterne des
rotations légères et des pressions plus appuyées.
SECURITE
Lisez avec attention l’intégralité des instructions avant utilisation. Conservez ce manuel d’utilisation pour pouvoir
vous y référer facilement ultérieurement.
MESURES DE PRÉCAUTION
• L’utilisation de cet appareil devra être exclusivement celle pour lequel il a été conçu, et selon les indications
données dans ce manuel d’utilisation. Toute autre utilisation sera considérée comme inappropriée et donc
dangereuse.
• Vériez que l’installation électrique est compatible avec la puissance et la tension indiquées.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil à l’extérieur.
• Une utilisation excessive pourrait entraîner une surchauffe et écourter la durée de vie de l’appareil. En cas de
surchauffe, espacer les cycles d’utilisation pour que l’appareil refroidisse entre chaque opération.
• Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil sous une couverture ou un coussin. Cela pourrait provoquer une surchauffe,
un risque d’incendie, d’électrocution ou de dommages corporels.
• Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités

• Débranchez la prise secteur quand il n’est pas utilisé.
• Ne faites pas fonctionner cet appareil dans des endroits où des ou de l’oxygène est administré.
• Si l’appareil électrique tombe dans l’eau ou toute autre liquide, n’essayez pas de le rattraper, mais débranchez
immédiatement la prise de courant. Ne faites pas fonctionner cet appareil dans des conditions de forte
humidité.
• Ne faites pas fonctionner cet appareil dans des endroits où des produits aérosols (vaporisateurs) sont utilisés
ou de l’oxygène est administré.
• Maintenez le cordon d’alimentation à l’écart des surfaces chauffées.
• Ne mettez jamais en marche l’appareil en cas de cordon d’alimentation ou de connecteur endommagé, en cas
de fonctionnement incorrect, en cas de chute ou de détérioration.
• En cas de panne et / ou de mauvais fonctionnement, éteignez immédiatement l’appareil.
• N’essayez pas de réparer l’appareil. Aucune pièce ne peut être remise en état par l’utilisateur.
• Débranchez toujours la prise de courant après utilisation ou avant nettoyage. Pour éteindre l’appareil, appuyez
sur le bouton «
», puis retirez la prise du secteur.
• Ne tirez pas le câble d’alimentation ou l’appareil pour débrancher la prise du secteur.
• Ne transportez pas l’appareil à l’aide du cordon d’alimentation.

déficiences sensorielles ne doivent pas utiliser cet appareil.
• Les personnes souffrant d’un trouble physique ne leur permettant pas d’utiliser correctement la télécommande
ne doivent pas utiliser cet appareil.
• N’utilisez pas cet appareil sur des parties du corps enées, enammées ou sur une peau boutonneuse.
• En cas de gêne durant l’utilisation de l’appareil, cessez les séances et demandez conseil à un médecin.
• Cet appareil est destiné à un usage domestique, non professionnel. Il ne doit pas être utilisé en substitution
à un traitement médical.
• Ne dépassez pas la limite de temps recommandée.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil avant d’aller vous coucher. Le massage a un effet stimulant qui peut retarder
l’endormissement.

ATTENTION !
Utiliser l’appareil sans avoir retiré la vis peut gravement l’endommager.
PRÉPARATION AVANT UTILISATION
Le masseur Shiatsu est livré avec une vis située à l’arrière de l’appareil pour protéger le mécanisme durant
le transport.
1. Retirez IMPERATIVEMENT cette vis à l’aide de la clé Allen fournie, avant la première utilisation du
masseur.
2. Attachez le masseur sur un siège à l’aide des sangles situées à l’arrière de l’appareil. Assurez-vous du
bon maintien de l’appareil sur le siège.
3. Branchez l’adaptateur sur une prise secteur.
FONCTIONNEMENT
1. Asseyez-vous sur l’appareil, prenez la télécommande en main, et appuyez sur « » pour mettre l’appareil
en marche (lumière rouge allumée).
2. Sélectionnez le massage de votre choix en pressant le bouton correspondant (voir schéma télécommande).
Massage Shiatsu :
A l’aide de la télécommande, sélectionnez la zone de massage :
• appuyez sur le bouton FULL BACK pour un massage Shiatsu du dos complet
• appuyez sur le bouton UPPER BACK pour un massage Shiatsu du haut du dos
• appuyez sur le bouton LOWER BACK pour un massage Shiatsu du bas du dos

ETEINDRE L’APPAREIL
Pour arrêter l’appareil, appuyez sur le bouton « ». La lumière rouge clignote jusqu’à ce que le mécanisme de
massage revienne à sa position intiale en bas du dossier, puis la lumière rouge s’éteint.
Pour votre sécurité, cet appareil s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 15 minutes, durée maximale recommandée
pour ce type de massage.
Néanmoins, pensez toujours à éteindre l’appareil et à le débrancher après utilisation.

UTILISATION ET ENTRETIEN

INTRODUCTION
The term Shiatsu means «finger pressure» in Japanese.
A Shiatsu massage is both relaxing and energising. It provides relief for knots and muscular tension, and improves
blood circulation.
The Terraillon Shiatsu massage imitates the movement of two expert kneading hands, alternating light rotations
with deeper pressure movements.
SAFETY
Carefully read all the instructions before use. Retain this user manual for easy reference at a later date.
WARNINGS
• This appliance must solely be used for the purpose for which it was designed and only used according
to the instructions described in this user manual. Any other use is inappropriate and therefore dangerous.
• Check that the electrical system is compatible with the power and voltage indicated.
• Excessive use may cause the appliance to overheat and shorten its serviceable life. If the appliance overheats,
make sure sufcient time has elapsed to allow it to cool down between each use.
• Do not operate the appliance under a cover or a cushion, as this could cause it to overheat, leading to a risk
of re, electrocution or bodily harm.
• Do not use the device outdoors.
• This device should not be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental ability,
or by persons without experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone responsible for their
safety and able to instruct them as to how to use the device.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Disconnect the plug from the mains when it is not in use.

• Do not exceed the recommended time limits.
• Do not use the appliance before going to bed. Massages have a stimulating effect and this may delay
sleep.

CAUTION!
Using the appliance without having removed the screw may cause serious damage.
PREPARATION BEFORE USE
The Shiatsu massager is delivered with a screw located at the rear of the appliance to protect the mechanism
during transport.
1. This screw MUST be removed using the Allen key supplied before using the massager for the first
time.
2. Attach the massager to a chair using the straps located behind the appliance. Check that the appliance
if fitted securely to the chair.
3. Connect the power cord to the mains.
OPERATION
1. Sit on the massager then press ‘ ’ on the remote control to start up the appliance (red light illuminated).
2. Select the massage program required by pressing the corresponding button (see remote control diagram).
Shiatsu massage:
Using the remote control, select the massage area.
• press the FULL BACK button for a full Shiatsu back massage
• press the UPPER BACK button for an upper back Shiatsu massage
• press the LOWER BACK button for a lower back Shiatsu massage

SWITCHING OFF THE APPLIANCE
To stop the appliance, press the ‘ ’ button. The red light ashes until the massage mechanism returns to its
initial position at the base of the chair, then the red light turns off.
For your safety, this appliance automatically switches off after 15 minutes, which is the maximum recommended
time limit for this type of massage.
However, you should always try to remember to switch off the appliance and disconnect it after use.

uit door op de « »-knop te drukken. Haal vervolgens de stekker uit het stopcontact.
• Trek om de stekker uit het stopcontact te halen nooit aan het voedingssnoer of het apparaat.
• Verplaats het toestel nooit door het aan het voedingssnoer vast te houden.
