1.2 Production introduction
Tech Novitas Coral series precision cooling systems provides one stop
solution with the configuration of air condition, UPS, cabinet, monitoring
units, PDU, KVM. etc. The advantages are minimum construction
investment of IT room, rapid deployment of core working, environmental
friendliness and energy saving, etc.
2 Installation
2.1 Transportation and Handling
Our standard and export package includes pallet. Please use forklift to
move the units. See Figure 2-1 as below:

When hoisting with belts or steel ropes, please make sure the unit and
package are secured tightly are not damaged.
Note: Hoisting equipment and ropes are to be locally arranged before

the arrival of shipment
During the transportation, please make sure that the material is not tilted
beyond the reasonable limits of within 75℃~105℃, See Figure 2-2 as
below:

2.2 Opening package and moving unit
To ensure that you receive complete unit in good conditions,
please open the packing , immediately inspect the exterior package and
the unit itself. Check whether all the components of the unit are there as
per the purchase order. If any potential damage is found, please contact
us immediately.

Recycle
Transport material is recycled. Please store it for later use and re
packing
Move the pallet to a level ground
Inspect whether the equipment was damaged in the process of
transportation.
Remove the plastic bag, cardboard ,etc
Move the unit to ground carefully, keep it straight and up right.

2.3.3 Charging of refrigerant, please pay attention:
a. Release the Nitrogen air : The indoor & outdoor unit have been
charged with Nitrogen air ex-factory, vacuum, exhaust air completely
from both “high pressure valve” and “low pressure valve” ( some of
specific mode has been charged refrigerant ex-factory, please
disregards above) before filling it.
b. If the pipe distance between indoor unit and outdoor unit exceeds 10
meters extra quantity of refrigerant is advised. Extra quantity of
refrigerant calculation is equal to =refrigerant charging quantity per
meter of liquid pipe (kg/m) X length of prolonged liquid pipe (m)

c . Extra charging of refrigerant may cause the dilution of frozen oil,
which will influence the lubricating and cooling effect. So extra charging
of frozen oil is advised. Extra charging of frozen oil (ml)=extra charging
of refrigerant(kg)x22.6.
2.3.4 Outdoor unit Installation
a. The outdoor unit should be placed at a place safe and easy to
maintain , but not to be kept in a public place or exposed to snow and
water.
b. To ensure sufficient air volume, it is recommended that the outdoor
unit should be installed in a clean place, and kept away from dust and
dirt that may block the coil pipe. Besides, the outdoor unit cannot be
located where its exposed to hot air or smoke exhaust that affects heat

dissipation. Sufficient space as follows should be provided between the
outdoor unit and the wall, or barriers or other units:
The distance between outdoor unit: X≥0.6m
The distance between the side face of the outdoor unit and the wall or
the barrier: Y≥0.4m
The distance between the back of the outdoor unit and the wall or the
barrier: Z≥0.2m
* The outdoor unit should be mounted vertically to ensure the normal
flow of refrigerant and the backflow of lubricant. The support arms of the
outdoor unit are provided with mounting holes for mounting the
condenser on a steel support or the ground stably.
