The Vividimage®W 4K Wall Display is intended to be used in the displaying and viewing of video and

Tips and Safety Precautions

-Image persistence on LED monitors is caused

by the continuous display of static graphics on

the screen for extended periods of time. Do

not display a static image for more than eight

(8) hours. An afterimage may remain.

-To prevent image persistence,

power off the monitor when not in

use, especially at the end of the

day.

-It may be difficult to see the image if the

brightness is adjusted to the minimum setting.

-The quality of the video signal may influence

the quality of the displayed image.

-Do not open the monitor casing.

Mounting

- Always follow mounting instructions to avoid

physical injury and/or damage to the monitor.

Location

-Use the monitor in a suitable environment.

See the operating temperature and storage

temperature in “Specifications” on page 16.

-Even though the monitor is classified as /

medical grade, use caution around liquids as

you would with any electrical appliance.

-Do not insert objects into the monitor.

-Do not place the monitor on unstable surfaces.

-In all cases, refer to the specifications in this

manual to ensure proper monitor performance.

Use of the monitor outside of operating

specifications will void the monitor warranty

and may cause permanent damage to the

monitor.

Manual Scope

This manual is written for use for RLM65MG4K2

and RLM65MG4K3. When describing a different

specification/function between the monitors, the

part number is given. When the part number is

not given, the description is true for all monitors.

For product appearance, illustrations of part

number RLM65MG4K2 are used in this manual.

•Use of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified herein may

result in hazardous radiation exposure.

•Do not use this apparatus near water.

•The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such

as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

•Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

•Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus

(including amplifiers) that produce heat.

•Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

•The main power plug is readily accessible for main power disconnection of the system.

•To remove power, unplug the device power cord from the outlet.

•WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or

moisture.

Storage & Installation

•Prior to installation, store in a dry location in temperatures between -4º Fahrenheit (F) and 140º F /

-20º Celsius (C) and 60º C.

•Always following installation instructions to avoid physical injury or damage to the device.

•Take care when lifting this device. Use proper safety precautions to protect against injury.

•The installation must be carried out in accordance with all applicable installation rules.

•Do not modify or tamper with AC line.

•Do not install this apparatus outdoors.

•Do not place on unstable surfaces.

•The equipment should not be used adjacent to or stacked with other equipment. If adjacent or

stacked use is necessary, the equipment should be observed to verify normal operation in the

configuration in which it will be used.

Setting Up the Display

Step 1: Unpack the monitor and other items from the carton

If any of the items are missing (see “Monitor and Accessory Checklist” on page 5), please call

Customer Support at 800-548-4873.

Step 2: Turn off the power of your computer

Step 3: At the PC, connect the HDMI or DisplayPort signal cable to the connector of the display card

in your system.

Step 4: Connect the HDMI or DisplayPort signal cable to the connector on the back of the monitor.

Incorrectly connecting the cables may result in irregular operation, damage to the display quality and

the components of LCD module, and a shorter module life.

Step 5: Connect one end of the power cord to the AC inlet on the back of the monitor and the other

end to the power outlet.

Please refer to “Tips and Safety Precautions” on page 5 for proper selection of your AC power cord.

Step 6: Make sure the Main Power Switch on the back side of the monitor is turned on, and then turn

on the monitor with the right-side power button.

The Main Power Switch is a real on/off switch. If this switch is on the off position, you cannot turn on

the monitor with the right-side power button.

Step 7: Turn on the computer.

For further adjustments, refer to “OSD (On Screen Display) Menu” on page 11. If you have any

questions, please refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 15.

Display Overview

Display Keypad

The display’s keypad is located on the front, lower right of the display.

FIBER / SDI / DP / HDMI

Displays the input from the fiber, SDI, DisplayPort, or HDMI port. (The Fiber button is available only on

RLM65MG4K2)

INFO

Displays information about the display.

ENTER

Access and control the functions of the sub-menu when the OSD is shown.

Open Source Menu.

▼/ −

Moves down the list of menu items, or decreases a setting’s value after you’ve selected a setting in the OSD

menu.

▲/ +

Moves up the list of menu items, or increases a setting’s value after you’ve selected a setting in the OSD

menu.

Displays the OSD menu, If the OSD menu isn’t displayed.

Exits the OSD menu, if the OSD main menu is displayed.

Returns to the OSD main menu, if a submenu is displayed.
