battery.

battery

Tofitthe
batt«ry,
first
make
surethat
the
receiver
is
switched
off.
Now
place
the
receiverfacedownwards
ona
soft
cloth,
unscrew
thetwo
securingscrews
atthe
back
ofthe
receiver,
and
lift
offthe
cover.Install
the
battery
as
shown
in
Fig.
1 and
clip
onthe
pressstud
connectors.Replace
the
back
cover
and
tighten
the
securing
screws.
Battery
Economy
This
receiveremploystransistorsthatconsumelittle
current.Therefore,yourbatterywilllast
a
long
time
andthe
cost
of
running
the
receiverwill
be
low.
More-
over,
youcan
extendbattery
life
evenfurther
by
running
thesetfor
shortratherthanlongperiods,
andbynot
letting
the
soundvolumeexceed
the
levelreallynecessary
for
comfortablelistening.
A
singlebatterywillprovide
manyhours
of
entertainment
ifyou
keep
the
volume
down
and
switch
offthe
receiverwhen
itisnot
wanted.
