Installation
Power Supply
Before plugging your unit in, be sure the source voltage in your area matches the voltage
required for your lighting setup. Every unit is available in 100v and 240v version. Because line
voltage may vary from venue to venue, you should be sure your unit voltage matches the wall outlet
voltage before attempting to operate your unit.
* Always connect this product to a protected circuit with an appropriate electrical ground to
avoid the risk of electrocution or re.
*To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of nonuse complete-
ly disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.
Mounting
The SilentPar 1210 may be mounted in any position, provided there is adequate room for
ventilation around it. Operating in an insuciently ventilated room can lead to an overheating of the
device and may cause serious accidents. Keep a minimum distance of 0.5m around and above the
device. Do not operate this device with the top part of the housing opened. Before deciding on a
location, always make sure that it will be easy to access the unit for maintenance and programming
purposes. Make sure that the structure onto which you are mounting this product can support its
weight. Please see the Technical Specications section of this manual for weight
information. When mounting this product overhead, always use a safety cable. Mount the xture
securely to a rigging point, whether an elevated platform or a truss.
Rigging
When rigging this product onto a truss, you should use a mounting clamp of appropriate
weight capacity. The bracket has a 13 mm hole, which is appropriate for this purpose.
When power linking multiple xtures, you must always consider the length of the power
linking cable and mount the xtures close enough for the cable to reach them.
The bracket knobs allow for directional adjustment when aiming the xture to the desired
angle. Only loosen or tighten the bracket knobs using your bare hands. Using tools
could damage the knobs. The double bracket yoke/mounting brackets/feet also serve as oor
support(s) or surface mounting.
