1. Referring to the compatibility list of makes and models, select the
correct charging-cable adapter tip for your notebook.
Be aware that notebook manufacturers frequently change the tip
design so you may find that the recommended adapter tip doesn’t fit.
If so, or your notebook make isn’t listed, try all the adapter tips: first
make sure your notebook is switched o and the plug is disconnected
from the mains; following that, test each of the adapter tips in turn by
plugging them into your notebook’s power socket.
The adapter tip should insert into the socket with minimal eort and
remain securely in place.
2. If the integrated power tip is unsuitable for your notebook, connect
the appropriate adapter tip to the power adapter’s charging cable.
3. Set the required output voltage using the slider on the power
adapter. Please refer to the notebook label, the manual or the original
power adapter for the correct voltage level.
NEVER select a higher voltage level. Furthermore, make sure the
notebook’s power requirements do not exceed the maximum voltage
output of the power adapter (90 Watts). If you cannot set the required
voltage level precisely, set the next lowest voltage-output level.
4. Now plug the charging cable, with the correct adapter tip fitted, into
the notebook’s power socket.
5. Using the power cable, plug the power adapter into an AC outlet
(100-240V, 50/60Hz). The LED on the power adapter will glow and the
notebook will be powered.

1. Suchen Sie anhand der Hersteller-Kompatibilitätsliste den zu
Ihrem Notebook passenden Ladekabel-Stecker heraus.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Notebook-Hersteller das
Steckerformat häufig verändern; daher kann es vorkommen, dass
der empfohlene Stecker nicht passt. Sollte dies der Fall oder
Ihr Notebook-Hersteller nicht aufgeführt sein, probieren Sie alle
beiliegenden Stecker aus: Stecken Sie diese probehalber in die
Netzteilbuchse des Notebooks – bitte stellen Sie dabei sicher,
dass das Notebook abgeschaltet und der Stecker nicht mit dem
Netzteil verbunden ist. Der Stecker muss sich ohne Kraftaufwand
in die Buchse führen lassen und sicheren Halt haben.
2. Stecken Sie den passenden Steckeradapter auf das Ladekabel
des Netzteils, sofern der integrierte Stecker nicht für Ihr Notebook
geeignet ist.
3. Stellen Sie mit dem Schieberegler am Netzteil die benötigte
Ausgangsspannung ein. Diese entnehmen Sie dem Notebook-
Label, dessen Bedienungsanleitung oder dem Originalnetzteil.
Bitte wählen Sie keinesfalls eine zu hohe Spannung und stellen Sie
sicher, dass die benötigte Leistung des Notebooks die maximale
Ausgangsleistung des Netzteils von 90 Watt nicht übersteigt. Sollte
sich die nötige Spannung nicht exakt einstellen lassen, wählen Sie
den nächst-niedrigeren Wert.
4. Stecken Sie das Ladekabel mit dem passenden Stecker in die
Ladebuchse des Notebooks.
5. Verbinden Sie das Netzteil über das Netzkabel mit einer
Steckdose (100-240 V, 50/60 Hz). Die LED am Netzteil beginnt zu
leuchten, das Notebook wird mit Strom versorgt.

INTENDED USE
This product is intended to be used as an AC adapter
for compatible notebooks and is for indoor home/oce
use only. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not
disassemble it and stop using it immediately if damaged.

improper use or for purposes for which it is not intended.
SAFETY INFORMATION
The device is still mains powered even if it is switched o.
To ensure it is fully disconnected from the power outlet and
mains supply, unplug the device. The power outlet should
be easily accessible and located close to the device so
the cable does not pose a tripping hazard. Do not expose
the device to any liquids as this can cause defects, electric
shocks or fire. Do not place vessels containing liquids (vases
or similar) or naked flames (candles or similar) on top of
or next to the device. Leave a 2cm gap around all sides of
the device to ensure sucient ventilation. Do not cover the
openings with objects or textiles (blankets or similar) and do
not insert any objects into the openings. Only use the device
where the ambient temperature is between 0 and 35°C. The
device label is on the back/base.
PLEASE NOTE:
This power adapter supports notebooks with a voltage
requirement of 15 to 19.5 Volts. Do not use this power
adapter with notebooks whose voltage requirement is above
or below this voltage range. Never set a higher voltage
on the power adapter than is actually required as this may
damage the power adapter and the notebook. If you cannot
set the required voltage level precisely, if possible set the next
lowest voltage output level. Please make sure that the notebook’s
power requirements do not exceed the maximum voltage output
of the power adapter (90 Watts).
Using an incorrect charging-cable adapter tip may lead to it
heating up considerably during use. If this happens, unplug it and
try a dierent adapter tip. The power adapter may become warm
with extended use and if a lot of power is being drawn from it.
Make sure that the device does not touch heat-sensitive materials,
and never cover the power adapter while in use so as to ensure
optimum heat dissipation. Unplug the power adapter from the AC
outlet if you do not intend using it for a while. When connecting to
some notebook models, for technical reasons the notification may
be displayed that the power adapter is not suitable for powering
the notebook. This is often just to highlight that you are not using
the notebook manufacturer’s power adapter. In the majority of
cases, it is fine to use the PECOS Power Adapter.
DISPOSAL
This symbol means that you must not dispose of this product
together with household waste. Always store and dispose of
old equipment or batteries correctly as they can harm the
environment or cause injury because they may contain hazardous
substances; failure to do so may result in fines. In the EU, you can
dispose of your old equipment or batteries free of charge at an
ocial recycling point: you are required to do so by law, it ensures
your device or battery is recycled and you do your bit to help
protect the environment. For information please contact your local
authority, civic amenity site or retailer. Major EU retailers
(electronics retailers with a sales area of ≥ 400m²) take back small
appliances (all dimensions < 25cm) free of charge; others do so
only if you purchase products of a similar value. If possible,
remove any batteries.

Auch nach dem Abschalten liegt im Gerät Netzspannung an,
es ist erst nach Ziehen des Netzsteckers vom Netz getrennt.
Die Steckdose sollte sich leicht zugänglich in Gerätenähe
befinden, das Kabel keine Stolpergefahr darstellen. Das
Gerät keinen Flüssigkeiten aussetzen, diese können
Defekte, Stromschläge oder Brände verursachen. Keine
Gefäße mit Flüssigkeiten (Vasen o.ä.) oder oenem Feuer
(Kerzen o.ä.) darauf oder daneben platzieren. Rundum
2 cm Abstand sicherstellen für ausreichende Belüftung;

o.ä.) verdecken, nichts einführen. Nur bei 0 bis 35 °C verwenden

Netzteils von 90 Watt nicht übersteigt.
Sollte der gewählte Ladekabel-Stecker nicht die korrekte Form
haben, kann er sich im Betrieb stark erhitzen. Trennen Sie in
diesem Fall bitte die Verbindung und probieren Sie einen anderen
Stecker aus. Das Netzteil kann sich bei längerem Gebrauch und
hoher Leistungsabgabe erwärmen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das
Gerät nicht mit wärmeempfindlichen Materialien in Berührung
kommt, und verdecken Sie das Netzteil im Betrieb nicht, damit
eine zuverlässige Wärmeabfuhr gewährleistet ist. Trennen Sie das
Netzteil bei längerem Nichtgebrauch von der Steckdose.
Beim Anschluss an einige Notebook-Modelle kann es aus
technischen Gründen zur Anzeige der Meldung kommen, dass
das Netzteil nicht für die Stromversorgung geeignet sei. Dies
ist oftmals nur ein Hinweis darauf, dass Sie kein Netzteil des
Notebook-Herstellers verwenden. In den meisten Fällen ist die
Nutzung des PECOS-Netzteils dennoch uneingeschränkt möglich.
