FEATURES:

This Pro Salon model features full electronic control of table height, head panel and leg panel tilts. It incorporates the

LEC Quiettech motor/hydraulic system that is smoother, quieter and more reliable. Includes an 8-button hand control,

heavy duty foot pedal, Strata 4" Memory Foam with rounded corners, hard maple wood construction with louvered

cabinet, and half round neck roll. Choose from a variety of base cabinet styles - the base cabinet includes a power outlet

and can accommodate a hot towel cabinet or other electrical device. ADA compliant with low height range. Some models

shown here with Stain, Flexible Armrest and Manicure Arms upgrades. PivotPerfect Side Arms or Manicure Arms

upgrade available in 30" and 32" widths only. Lifting capacity is 650 lbs. Oversized item - ships by Truck.

Section 1

PROSALON TABLE

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

FOR COMMERCIAL USE ONLY

When using an electrical furnishing, basic precautions should always be followed,

including the following:

Read all instructions before using the PROSALON TABLE.

DANGER- To reduce the risk of electrical shock:

1) Always unplug this furnishing from the electrical outlet before cleaning.

WARNING- To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury to persons:

1. Unplug from outlet before putting on or taking off parts.

2. Close supervision is necessary when this furnishing is used by, or near

children, invalids, or disabled persons.

3. Use this furnishing only for its intended use as described in these instructions.

Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

4. Never use this furnishing if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working

properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. Return the

furnishing to a service center for examination and repair.

5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

6. Never operate the furnishing with the air openings blocked. Keep the air

openings free of lint, hair and the like.

7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

8. Do not use outdoors.

9. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where

oxygen is being administered.

10. To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from

outlet.

11. WARNING, MOVABLE PARTS- Risk of Injury- Keep children away from

extended Table Lift, Back Support or Leg Support.

12. CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this furnishing has a

polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized

outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If

it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do

not change the plug in any way.

13. Make certain that the cord and plug are maintained in good condition and are

not allowed to become damaged while in use. Avoid positioning the cord in the

traffic lane and it is always kept out of the way. Take this furnishing out of

service immediately if the cord or plug becomes damaged in any way.

14. If this furnishing is not in use, the cord needs to be rolled up and stored out of

the way to avoid damage.

CAUTION!

When lowering any section of the table, make sure that no supplies or any part of

yours or your client’s body is between the top of your table and its base. This could

result in injury, or could damage your table as well as the item. It is recommended

that you always return your table top to the lowest flat position to avoid leaving the

base exposed. By doing so, you will minimize the possibility of damage to your table

by unequal weight distribution such as sitting on the leg section while raised.

When lowering the table height, be sure there are no foreign obstacles are

underneath your table that could obstruct it from lowering completely. This could

damage your table.

1. Maximum weight lifting capacity of 500 lbs, maximum load limit for the back and

leg section 100 lbs each.

2. Never set anything under the table frame.

3. Never operate your table on an uneven surface. Adjust the leveling feet so that

your table is stable.

4. Never operate your table with unequally distributed weight such as sitting on the

foot or head section while raising or lowering it.

5. Never raise the head or foot section with a client in the prone position (face down).

6. Never use or store your table in a wet or very humid environment. Water and

excessive moisture can damage the wood cabinet and electrical components.

Evidence of exposure to water or moisture will void your warranty.

7. If you have purchased the Flexible Armrest Option, never use the Armrests as

handholds or body support mechanisms, especially when setting clients on or off

the table.

8. Never attempt to use the foot lift section to support concentrated weight such as

sitting or standing.

OPERATING YOUR TABLE

Pro Salon Electric Hydraulic Lift

Use of Hand Control:

With your new Pro Salon table, you can

1. Raise or lower the head section independently

2. Raise or lower the leg section independently

3. Raise or lower the entire table top

On your hand set control, you will notice three rows of

controls. The darkened section of the image is the

area where adjustment will occur.

Push left of the image – movement will be “up”.

Push right of the image – movement will be “down”.

LOCATION OF BUTTON FUNCTION

FIRST Row of Control Raise or lower the head section

SECOND Row of Control Raise or lower the table height

THIRD Row of Control Raise or lower leg section

You can also push 2 or more of the Control functions at the same time for quick

adjustment of all desired sections, simultaneously.

OPTION: Hands Free Foot Control: If you have ordered the Hands Free Foot

Control, you can adjust the back tilt, foot section, and height of the table –

keeping your hands sanitary for treatments.

The LEFT control adjusts the height of the table.

The CENTER control adjusts the back tilt section.

The RIGHT control adjusts the leg tilt section.

Use of Foot Control:

The foot pedal controls the raising or lowering of the entire table. The left side raises

the table and the right side lowers it.

OPTION: Flex Armrest.Applies only to tables purchased with this option.

The optional flexible armrest on your Living Earth Crafts table features a positive

lock design. A locking mechanism ensures that the armrests do not unexpectedly

pull out during use. At first the armrests will be a bit tight to remove. This is

normal. Allow time to let the components “fit in”, and they will loosen over time.

1. Install the Flex Armrests. Installing the armrests can be done with the

table in any position, however, it may be easiest when the table top is in the

flat position. Line up the entry posts with the side grommet holes. Push the

tips into the holes until a click can be heard. If the armrest is pushed in too

far, pull it back slightly and the lock will engage. Test the locked position by

giving it a light pull. It should give resistance.

2. Remove the Flex Armrests. Removing the armrests can be done with the

table in any position, however, it may be easiest when the table top is in the

flat position. Grasp the armrest near the entry posts and remove one end at

a time with a sharp pull. This operation takes some effort, however this

ensures that the rest will not release during use.

Servicing of Double Insulated Products- This is a double-insulated product, with

two systems of insulation instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a

double-insulated product, nor is a means for grounding to be added to the product.

Servicing a double-insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the

system, and is to be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for

a double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ROLLING CASTER / WHEEL OPTION

If you have ordered the optional Rolling Caster Wheels, it is

important that you read this section.

To engage the wheels on your table: Lower the table to the lowest position. Your

table is ready to be rolled to its desired location.

To disengage the wheels on your table: From the lowest position raise the table 1

or more inches. Your table is now ready for use.

FAILURE TO DISENGAGE THE WHEELS WHEN CLIENT IS GETTING ON OR

OFF THE TABLE COULD RESULT IN INJURY. KEEP WHEELS DISENGAGED AT

ALL TIMES WHEN A CLIENT IS ENTERING ONTO OR EXITING FROM THE

TABLE, AS WELL AS WHILE THE CLIENT IS ON THE TABLE.

CAUTION: Wheels are intended for use on smooth surfaces only. Tables with wheels

are not intended to roll over thresholds, cords or other obstacles. Tables with wheels

are not intended for use on stairs. Rolling your table over obstacles can damage your

table as well as the obstacle. Rolling your table over cords can be very dangerous as

this can damage the insulation inside the cord.

Be very careful when rolling your table near walls or doors as damage can occur to

the wall or door as well as the table.

Living Earth Crafts will not be responsible for damage to your table or other

objects damaged by misuse of wheels.

Failure to use the wheels except as described above could damage your table and

void your warranty.

Damage to table frame caused by misuse will not be covered under warranty.

Trained personnel at our factory will assess any frame damage or warranty issues

resulting from the use of wheels.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

PIVOT PERFECT SIDE ARMS OR MANICURE ARMS

If you have ordered the optional Pivot Perfect Side Arms or

Manicure Arms, it is important that you read this section.

•Patent Pending Pivot Perfect ™ Side Arms with or without Manicure Bowls

–These one-of-a-kind armrests pivot in close to the body for a snug-in-fit

and maximum comfort.

–Manicure bowls are covered with comfortable foam cushions that swing

away for access to manicure bowls. When closed, the arms are a

comfortable armrest.

–Easy to remove, lightweight – yet can support the weight of the client

leaning on them while exiting the chair.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:

Be aware that when your Pivot Perfect Side Arms are swung in over the table top, you

need to use caution when lifting the leg section to avoid pinching your client’s body

between the table top and the side arms. To avoid possible injury to your client and

damage to your table, stop lifting the leg section before your client’s body touches the

bottom of the side arms. Similarly, avoid lifting the leg section into the bottom of the

armrests as you may tear the vinyl.

When rotating your Pivot Armrests in, take precautions to avoid contact between the

armrest and the leg section. The result of this collision could be injury to your client or

damage to your table and arms. Stop rotating your side arms in before contact is

made with your table.

MAINTENANCE

Pro Salon Electric Hydraulic Lift

Your new Pro Salon table is relatively maintenance free. However, to ensure that

your table will continue to function properly and keep its appearance, we recommend

the following:

1. VINYL: After each and every treatment on your table, clean thoroughly, removing

all oil residue. This and other residues may cause the vinyl to dry out and become

brittle. We recommend using the product ViraGuard® (sold by Living Earth Crafts)

which also disinfects. Spray the vinyl and rub gently with a soft cloth. A solution

of 1 part mild detergent (such as liquid dishwashing detergent) to 10 parts warm

water may also be used. Simple Green is another alternative. A more thorough

cleaning is recommended on a weekly basis.

Use caution when attempting to remove stains as you could damage your vinyl.

Any stains should be treated immediately with a solution of 1 part alcohol to 10

parts water. Restore the luster to the spot with a light application of spray furniture

wax.

CAUTION!

DO NOT USE ACETONE, PAINT THINNER, BLEACH,

ARMOR ALL TYPE OR INDUSTRIAL CLEANERS.

These will damage the vinyl’s protective coating.

2. To maintain the wood finish and retouch scratches, use a high quality furniture

wax.

3. The stainless steel legs should be cleaned and lubricated often. Clean and

lubricate with a petroleum based lubricant such as WD-40. This will help to

maintain smooth raising and lowering of your table. This should be done at least

every 3 months and more often if table is used often. To clean, raise the table to

its highest height position. Spray WD-40 onto clean, then, with a lint-free cloth,

wipe the legs from top to bottom several times. Check to see if any foreign

material is stuck on surface. (WD-40 applied thick and left a minute will help

loosen most common materials. Wipe clean.) To lubricate, raise table to its highest

position. Lubricate well on the exposed leg and raise and lower the table 2-3 times

to distribute the lubricant. Wipe off excess at leg bottom.

DO NOT USE soap and water for cleaning the legs.
