Be sure to inspectand clean ventilation systemaccording to the ventilation equipment manufacturers
instructions.Canopiesare set overranges, ovens,etc.,for ventilation purposes.It is recommendedthat a
canopyextend6”pastapplianceand be located6’6”from the floor. Filtersshouldbeinstalled at an angleof
45degreesormorewith thehoxizontal.This preventsdripping greaseandfacilitiesc&cting therun-offgrease
in a drip pan,usuallyinstalledwith a filter. A strongexhaustfan tendsto createda vacuumin the roomand
mayinterferewithburnerperfbrmanceor mayextinguishpilot flames.Freshair openingsapproximatelyequal
to thefan areawill relievesuchvacuum.In caseofunsatisfactmyperformanceon any appliance,checkwith
theexhaustfanin the“OFF”position.
