Muchas gracias por haber comprado la jarra ecológica Solac y contribuir en la
conservación del medioambiente. En poco tiempo podrá apreciar las ventajas
del agua filtrada. Para asegurar un funcionamiento óptimo, observe por favor las
instrucciones siguientes. Estamos a su disposición para ampliar toda la

2 FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL FILTRO RECARGABLE SOLAC
• El granulado del filtro está compuesto de una mezcla de carbón activado
y de intercambiadores de iones, unos materiales que no presentan
riesgo para la alimentación. Éstos reducen la cal y las sustancias
eventualmente contenidas en el agua corriente, como cloro, plomo,
cobre, cinc, pesticidas y contaminantes orgánicos, etc.
• Además, con el uso de las jarras y filtros recargables Solac usted está
contribuyendo en la reducción de la contaminación medioambiental.
Nada menos que 2,7 millones de toneladas de plástico son utilizadas
cada año en la fabricación de envases para agua embotellada.
3 INSTRUCCIONES DE PRIMER USO
1 Antes del primer uso, lave la jarra, el embudo y la tapa en agua caliente
con un producto suave. Todas las piezas se pueden lavar en el
lavavajillas excepto la tapa. (Fig. 1). Resetear el indicador: saque e
introduzca la pastilla 5 veces seguidas.
2 Para preparar el filtro, quítele el envoltorio sumérjalo durante 15 minutos
en agua fría. Agítelo levemente para eliminar las eventuales burbujas de
aire. El filtro está ahora listo para su uso. (Fig. 2).
3 Introduzca el filtro, ejerciendo una suave presión en la apertura del
embudo correspondiente. El filtro purificador ha de estar insertado hasta
el fondo. (Fig. 3).

4 A continuación, coloque el embudo con el filtro en la jarra. Ponga la tapa
y vierta agua fría del grifo por la apertura de la tapa. El agua fluye a
través del filtro purificador hasta la parte inferior de la jarra. Si el agua
fluyera de forma irregular o incluso dejara de pasar, esto significaría que
aún quedan burbujas de aire en el filtro. Repetir las instrucciones del
punto 2. (Fig. 4).
5 Cuando se cambia o recarga el filtro, los dos primeros llenados sirven
para limpiar y activar el granulado. Por ello, es normal que salga algo
oscura. Usar los dos primeros llenados para regar las plantas, o tirar el
agua. La jarra de agua filtrada está ahora lista para su uso. (Fig. 5).
4 INSTRUCCIONES DE RECARGA DEL FILTRO PURIFICADOR
SOLAC
El sistema ecológico de recarga de los filtros permite utilizarlos varias
veces, recargándolos con los sobres purificadores de Solac. Además el
filtro recargable es universal al ser compatible con otras jarras.
1 Gire la tapa para abrir el filtro. (Fig. 7).
2 Vacíe su contenido. El granulado se puede verter con los residuos
domésticos o puede ser aprovechado como abono para las plantas.
3 Rellenar el filtro con el nuevo granulado. Volver a cerrar el filtro. Seguir
las instrucciones del punto 2 del apartado “Instrucciones de primer uso”.
(Fig. 8).
Nota: El cartucho es recomendable cambiarlo 2 o 3 veces por año ya
que el filtro que esta en la tapa y que filtra las materias orgánicas se
obstruye.
5 INSTRUCCIONES DE INDICADOR ELECTRÓNICO
“INTELIGENTE” DE SOLAC
El innovador indicador electrónico SOLAC proporciona información
precisa recordándonos cuándo debemos o recargar el filtro. Es tan
preciso que nos permite parar el cómputo de la vida de la carga durante
los períodos de tiempo donde no vayamos a utilizar la jarra. De esta
forma aprovechamos al máximo la vida útil de la carga.
1 Si va a dejar de utilizar la jarra durante un período de tiempo, puede
detener el contador con el fin de que ese espacio de tiempo no sea
tenido en cuenta en la vida de la recarga. Para detener el contador,
simplemente deje la pastilla sacada durante 5 minutos.

2 Cuando quiera volver a poner en funcionamiento el contador, resetéelo.
Para resetear el indicador saque e introduzca la pastilla 5 veces
seguidas.
3 Indica la necesidad de cambiar el filtro al cabo de 6 semanas o *100/150
llenados.
*100 llenados para la jarra de 3.3 L y 150 llenados para la jarra de 2.4L
6 RECOMENDACIONES
• La jarra cabe en la puerta de la nevera. Para tener agua fresca, pura y
fría, poner la jarra siempre en la nevera. El filtro ha de permanecer en
contacto permanente con el agua. (Fig. 9).
• No exponer la jarra a los rayos directos del sol. (Fig. 10).
• Consumir el agua filtrada en el plazo de dos días. (Fig. 11).
q¡¡ATENCION!!: Cuando desee desprenderse del aparato, NUNCA lo
deposite en la basura, sino que acuda al PUNTO LIMPIO o de
recogida de residuos más cercano a su domicilio, para su posterior
tratamiento. De esta manera, está contribuyendo al cuidado del
medio ambiente.

2 HOW THE RECHARGEABLE SOLAC FILTER WORKS
• The filter granulate is comprised of a mixture of activated carbon and ion
exchangers. These materials do not harm foods. They reduce lime scale
and substances found in tap water, such as chlorine, lead, copper, zinc,
pesticides and organic contaminants, among others.
• In addition, by using the Solac rechargeable jugs and filters, you are
helping to reduce environmental pollution. 2.7 million tonnes of plastic
are used every year in manufacturing containers for bottled water.
3 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE FIRST USE
1 Before using it for the first time, wash the jug, funnel and lid in hot water
and a mild detergent. All the parts can be put in the dishwasher except
the lid. (Fig. 1). Reset the indicator, remove and press the tab 5 times in
a row.
2 To prepare the filter, remove the packaging, and immerse it in cold water
for 15 minutes. Shake gently to eliminate any air bubbles. The filter is
now ready to use. (Fig. 2).
3 Insert the filter by pressing down lightly on the mouth of the funnel. The
purifying filter must be inserted as far as it will go. (Fig. 3).
4 Then place the funnel and filter in the jug. Put on the lid and pour cold
water from the tap through the lid opening. The water will flow through
the purifying filter to the bottom of the jug. If the water should flow

unevenly or stop flowing, this means that the filter still contains air
bubbles. Repeat the steps given in paragraph 2. (Fig. 4).
5 After changing or replacing the filter, the first two filling operations are
intended to clean and activate the granulate. For this reason, the water
will come out slightly darker in colour. Use the first two filling operations
to water your plants or just throw away the water. The jug of filtered water
is now ready for use. (Fig. 5).
4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR REPLACING THE SOLAC
PURIFYING FILTER
The ecological system used to replace the filters enables you to use
them several times and replace them with Solac purifying sachets. The
rechargeable filter is also universal and compatible with other jugs.
1 Turn the lid to open the filter. (Fig. 7).
2 Empty out the contents. The granulate can be disposed of together with
household waste or used as a fertiliser for plants.
3 Fill the filter with the new granulate. Close the filter again. Follow the
instruction of paragraph 2 in the section entitled “Instructions for the first
use”. (Fig. 8).
5 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SOLAC “INTELLIGENT”
ELECTRONIC INDICATOR
The new SOLAC electronic indicator gives precise information to remind
you when to refill the filter. It is so precise that it enables you to stop
calculating the life of the filter during periods when the jug is not in use.
This way, we can get maximum use from the refill.
1 If you are not going to use the jug for some time, stop the counter so as
to avoid including this time in the life of the filter. To stop the counter just
release the tab for 5 minutes.
2 To start the counter again, just reset it. To reset the indicator, remove
and press the tab 5 times in a row.
3 Indicates the need to change the filter after 6 weeks or *100/150 fillings.
*100 fillings for the pitcher of 3.3 L and 150 fillings for the pitcher of 2.4L.

1 The jug can be stored in the refrigerator door. To keep your water fresh,
pure and cold, always leave the jug in the refrigerator. The filter must
remain in permanent contact with the water. (Fig. 9).
2 Never expose the jug to direct sunlight. (Fig. 10).
3 Use the filtered water within two days. (Fig. 11).
qCAUTION! When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw
it in the rubbish bin. Take it to your nearest CLEAN POINT or the
waste collection centre closest to your home for processing. You will
thus be helping to take care of the environment.
