Description of S6evo™Indoor Sirene (S6IS18)
Wireless, powerfull 90 dB indoor sirene with up to 24 months
standby battery. The sirene communicates wirelessly with the
SmartBox. It is possible to de-activate the built-in sirene of the
SmartBox, if you prefer only to use the indoor sirene. Thereby you
distract the burglar attention from your SmartBox that sends out
alarm messages and generally controls your alarm. You can add
more indoor sirenes on dierent spots in your home to stress the
burglar as much as possible. If the built-in sirene in the SmartBox
is not de-activated it will – together with the extra installed in-
door sirene(s) - make sound when the alarm is triggered.
The indoor sirene is easy to install and can be placed just where
you want it to be. The sirene is battery powered and will auto-
matically send you push notifications when batteries are due for
replacement.
The indoor sirene can be powered in two ways:
1. Battery: Install the sirene including the batteries but without
any cables. The batteries have a lifetime of up to 24 months. This
is the standard solution.
2. Mains power (220V): External power supply and cable is oered
as an accessory, In the event of a power cut, the batteries func-
tion as backup power.
Should you want to activate the functions ’Confirmation sound’
and/or ’Confirmation flash’ it is recommended to connect the
sirene to 2. Mains power as the extra power consumption of these
functions will reduce the battery life time and thus the standby
time of up 24 months. Exactly by how much depends on the
frequency use of the functions ’Sound/Flash’.
