SHELLY MOTION WIFI SENSOR
Introduction to Shelly
Shelly® is a family of innovative Devices, which allow remote
control of electric appliances through mobile phone, PC or
home automation system. Shelly® uses WiFi to connect to the
devices controlling it. They can be in the same WiFi network or
they can use remote access (through the Internet). Shelly® may
work standalone, without being managed by a home automation
controller, in the local WiFi network, as well as through a cloud
service, from everywhere the User has Internet access. Shelly®
has an integrated web server, through which the User may adjust,
control and monitor the Device. Shelly® has two WiFi modes - ac-
cess Point (AP) and Client mode (CM). To operate in Client Mode,
a WiFi router must be located within the range of the Device.
Shelly® devices can communicate directly with other WiFi devic-
es through HTTP protocol. An API can be provided by the Manu-
facturer. Shelly® devices may be available for monitor and control
even if the User is outside the range of the local WiFi network, as
long as the WiFi router is connected to the Internet. The cloud
function could be used, which is activated through the web server
of the Device or through the settings in the Shelly Cloud mobile
application. The User can register and access Shelly Cloud, using
either Android or iOS mobile applications, or any internet browser
and the web site: https://my.shelly.cloud/
What is Shelly Motion
Shelly Motion is high sensitive ultra-low power WiFi Motion sen-
sorwhich are connected to internet 24/7 and do not need addi-
tional HUB to be used. Shelly Motion can detect and send a noti-
cation if it detects movement or turns on your lights instantly. The
built-in acylserometer serves as a protection when someone tries
to remove or move the device, and the built-in light sensor gives
additional opportunities for automation of your home or oce.
Shelly Motion has a built-in 6500mAh battery that allows it to be

connected to the Internet for up to 3 years without recharging, and
in active transmission between 12 and 18 months

Installation Instructions

ac-companying documentation carefully and completely. Failure
to fol-low recommended procedures could lead to malfunction,
danger to your life or violation of the law. Allterco Robotics is not
responsible for any loss or damage in case of incorrect installation
or operation of this device.
⚠CAUTION! Do not allow children to play with the device,
espe-cially with the Power Button. Keep the devices for remote
control of Shelly (mobile phones, tablets, PCs) away from children.
How to assemble and mount the Shelly Motion
1. In your package as seen in g. 1 you will nd the body of the
Shelly Motion, ball arm plate and wall plate.
2. Place the ball arm plate onto the body of Shelly Motion as seen
in g. 2
3. Twist the ball arm plate in counter clock-wise direction as seen
in g. 3
4. Place the wall plate into the ball arm plate - g 4
5. The assembled Shelly Motion sensor should look like g. 5
6. Use the locking dowel provided in this package to mount your
Shelly Motion on to the wall.
Shelly Motion area of detection
Shelly Motion has an range of 8m or 25ft. Optimal height for
mounting is between 2,2m/7,2ft and 2,5m/8,2ft.

Shelly® ist eine Familie innovativer Geräte, mit denen elektrische

ferngesteuert werden können. Shelly® verwendet WLAN, um eine
Verbindung zu den Geräten herzustellen, die gesteuert werden. Sie
können sich im selben WLAN-Netzwerk benden oder den Fern-
zugriff (über das Internet) verwenden. Shelly® kann unabhängig
arbeiten, ohne von einem Heimautomatisierungscontroller ver-
waltet zu werden und zwar im lokalen WLAN-Netzwerk sowie über
einen Cloud-Dienst von jedem Ort aus, an dem der Benutzer über
einen Internetzugang verfügt. Shelly® verfügt über einen integrier-
ten Webserver, über den Benutzer das Gerät einstellen, steuern
und überwachen können. Shelly® verfügt über zwei WLAN-Modi
- Zugangspunkt (Access Point -AP) und Benutzer Modus (Client
Mode - CM). Um im Benutzer-Modus arbeiten zu können, muss
sich ein WLAN-Router in Reichweite des Geräts benden. Shel-

wenn sie Bewegungen erkennt oder Ihre Lichter sofort einschal-
tet. Das eingebaute Acylserometer dient als Schutz, wenn jemand
