1. Connect the “Jack” of the adapter to the charging base (Fig. 1) and
the plug to a compatible power outlet. Place the electric wine opener
into the recharging unit to ensure that it is firmly in position and that
it is fully engaged.
2. Battery Capacity indication lights will be on when charging. Battery
Capacity will flash.
3. When flashing has stopped, Electric Wine Opener is fully charged.
Maximum charging time is 12 hours. (Fig. 2)
4. Take out foil cutter to remove the seal on wine bottle. (Fig. 3)
5. Place the Electric Wine Opener on wine bottle, keeping the wine
opener aligned with the wine bottle. One of your hands firmly
holds the wine opener while the other firmly holds the wine bottle;
otherwise the cork will not come out easily. (Fig. 4)
6. Depress the Pull Button. The corkscrew spiral will turn in a clockwise
direction entering the cork. Next, gradually remove it from the bottle.
When the electric wine opener mechanism automatically stops, the
cork has been fully removed from the bottle. (Fig. 4)

cork, please depress the Release Button. The spiral will turn counter-
clockwise and release the cork. (Fig. 5)

9. If the wine opener is applied continuously, you will see a dimming of the light pane.
When the batteries are at very low capacity, the last pane may glimmer. Please stop
using electric wine opener and charge it, otherwise, the cork may block the wine
opener.
10. Always return the electric wine opener to the recharging unit when finished. This will
protect the mechanism while it is not in use.
WINE TEMPERATURE MEASURING
NOTE: In order to have an exact measurement, please remove any liquid on the bottle
surface with a dry fabric before measurement, making sure that the infrared sensor
keeps close. Liquid and dust greatly affect the precision of the measurement. Keep the
infrared sensor clean and free of liquid. If there is dust on the lens of the infrared sensor,
please remove it with a soft fabric. Tolerance of temperature is 1-2°C.
1. Available range for environment temperature: -10°C ---- +50°C
2. Available range for wine temperature: -9.9°C ---- +35°C
3. The appliance shows the room temperature when recharging.
4. When measuring, aim the hole of the infrared sensor at the back part of the wine
bottle (or other drink). The closer to the bottle, the more accurate the measurement
is. Press the release or extract button for 2 to 3 seconds so that the appliance
displays the temperature on top, which will turn off automatically after 10 seconds. In
order to have an exact temperature, repeat the above actions three times to make an
average temperature.
5. The infrared sensor can measure not only wine and other drinks, but also any other
objects. If the object’s temperature is higher than 50°C, please keep the infrared
sensor away from the object to avoid damaging the device.
NOTE: If the temperature shows “-EE” , that means the temperature of the object is lower
than the range. If the temperature shows “EEE”, that means temperature of the object is
higher than the range.
