Einstellen des Augenabstands
Der Abstand der Augen variiert von Person zu Person.
Um eine optimale Zentrierung der Augen- und Okular-
achse zu erreichen, schauen Sie durch das Fernglas und
verändern den Winkel der Mittelachse durch knicken bis
Sie ein klares Sehfeld erhalten.
Scharfeinstellung
Ihr Fernglas ist mit einer Einzelokular-Einstellung 1
ausgestattet. Stellen Sie durch Drehen der beidseitigen
Diotrie-Einstellung 1Ihr Fernglas auf ein weiter ent-
ferntes Objekt scharf ein.
Die Einzelokular-Einstellung 1ist auf eine größere
Tiefenschärfe ausgerichtet, so dass Sie beim Wechsel
auf unterschiedlich weit entfernte Objekte die Schärfe
nur bei großen Entfernungsunterschieden nachstellen
müssen.
Umstülpen der Augenmuscheln
Wichtig für Brillenträger: Für Beobachtungen mit einer
Brille werden die Gummiaugenmuscheln 2umgestülpt.
So wird das mögliche Gesichtsfeld des Fernglas-Mo-
dells ausgenutzt.

Niemals mit dem Fernglas direkt in die
Sonne blicken. Es drohen Verbrennungen
der Netzhaut!
Kompass 3
Ihr Fernglas ist mit einem Kompass ausgestattet. Wenn
Sie den Knopf drücken, sehen Sie eine Anzeige mit
Gradangaben (350, 360, 10). Diese Anzeige ist ein 360°
Kompass, wenn Sie in der Mitte der Skala 360° ablesen
können, blicken Sie exakt nach Norden (Süd = 180°).
Kalibrierung/Modus
1. Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter, um den Kompass
zu starten.
2. Halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 5 Sekunden lang
gedrückt. Es erscheint ein Modus P welches den Nei-
gungswinkel (horizontal) von -90 bis +90°angibt.
3. Weitere 5 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten, um in den
Modus für Kippwinkel zu gelangen.
4. Halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter noch ein weiteres
mal für 5 Sekunden gedrückt. Der digitale Kompass
wird jetzt automatisch kalibriert und ist danach be-
triebsbereit.
Batteriewechsel (Fig. 2)
Öffnen Sie das Battriefach 4 mit einer Münze und
wechseln die Batterien (GP 186). Beide Batterien müs-
sen mit dem +Pol nach oben in das Batteriefach einge-
legt werden.
Reinigen des Fernglases
1. Entfernen Sie grobe Staubpartikel mit einem Pinsel.
2. Benutzen Sie für die weitere Reinigung bitte ein wei-
ches, fusselfreies Reinigungstuch.
3. Sollten noch Schmutzreste auf den Linsen bleiben,
befeuchten Sie das Tuch mit handelsüblicher Rei-
nigungsflüssikeit für optische Gläser. (erhältlich im
Fotofachhandel) Die Reinigung sollte ohne starken
Druck erfolgen.
Garantie & Service
Die Garantiezeit beträgt 2 Jahre und beginnt am Tag des
Kaufs. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis
für den Kauf auf. Während der Garantiezeit werden de-
fekte Geräte von Ihrem Fachhändler vor Ort angenommen
und ggf. eingeschickt. Sie erhalten dann ein neues oder
repariertes Gerät kostenlos zurück. Nach Ablauf der Ga-
rantiezeit haben Sie ebenfalls die Möglichkeit, ein defektes
Gerät zwecks Reparatur zurückzugeben. Nach Ablauf der
Garantiezeit anfallende Reparaturen sind jedoch kosten-
pflichtig.

Setting the distance between the eyes
The distance between the eyes differs between individu-
als. To achieve optimal centring of the eye and eyepiece
axis look through the binoculars and change the angle
of the centre axis by folding or expanding until you have
a clear field of view.
Adjusting the focus
Your binoculars have single eyepiece adjustment A
means. To focus look at an object approximately 100
meters away. Close only your left eye and keep turning
the right eyepiece setting ring Auntil the object looked
at is in sharp focus. Then close only your right eye and
turn the left eyepiece setting Auntil the object you are
looking at is again in sharp focus. The binoculars are
now precisely adjusted to your eyesight.
The single eyepiece setting Ais designed to give you
better perspective. When switching between objects of
varying distance the focus need only be readjusted if
the change in distance is really major.
Reversing the eye-piece cup
Note for spectacles wearers. The rubber eyepiece cups
2are reversed when using spectacles to look through
the binoculars. The maximum field of view of the binoc-
ulars can thus be exploited to the full.

Never look directly at the sun with the
binoculars. This may cause burn injuries
to the retina.

Compass 3
Your binoculars are equipped with a compass. If you
press the button and look through the binocular, you will
see an indication in degrees (350...360...) at the lower
edge of your field of view. If 360 is exactly at the centre
of the scale you are looking directly to the north (if 180,
to the south).
Calibration/Mode
1. Press the power button to start the compass.
2. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
The P Mode appears which indicates the angle of
inclination (horizontal) from -90° to +90°.
3. Press and hold the power button again for 5 seconds
to enter the tilt angle mode.
4. Press and hold the power button for another 5 se-
conds. The digital compass is now automatically
calibrated and ready for operation.
Changing the batteries (Fig. 2)
Remove the plastic battery compartment cover 4by
raising it gently. Open the compartment 4by turning
the latch with a coin and then change the batteries (GP
186). Both batteries must have the positive (+) pole at
the top when inserted in the compartment.
Cleaning your binoculars
1. Remove coarse dust with a brush.
2. Please use a soft fluff-free cloth for further cleaning.
3. Should there still be residue on the lens dampen the
cloth with standard cleaning fluid for optical glass
(available from photography shops). Do not press hard
when cleaning.
Warranty & Service
The period of warranty is 2 years, beginning on the day
of purchase. Please keep the cash receipt as evidence
of purchase. Devices which become defective during
the warranty period can be returned to the dealer where
the device was bought. The repaired device or a new
one will then be returned to you. In the case of defects
which occur after the end of the warranty period, the
devices can also be returned. However, repairs which
become necessary after the end of the warranty period
will be subject to a service fee.

Réglage de la distance interpupillaire:
La distance inter-pupillaire varie d‘une personne à l‘autre.
Afin d‘obtenir un centrage optimal, regardez à travers
vos jumelles et changez l‘angle du dispositif de visée en
rapprochant ou en écartant les deux branches de vos ju-
melles jusqu‘à ce que vous obteniez une bonne vue.
Mise au point:
Vos jumelles sont dotées d‘un réglage individuel des
oculaires APour effectuer la mise au point, visez un
objet au loin (à environ 100m). Fermez l‘œil gauche et
tournez la molette d‘ajustement dioptrique de l‘oculaire
droit Ajusqu‘à ce que l‘objet soit net. Fermez ensuite
l‘œil droit et tournez aussi longtemps que nécessaire
la molette d‘ajustement dioptrique de l‘oculaire gauche
jusqu‘à ce que l‘objet soit de nouveau net. A présent,
vos jumelles sont exactement réglées selon votre vue.
Le réglage individuel des oculaires Aa été prévu pour
une grande profondeur de champ ; c‘est pourquoi vous
ne devrez rectifier le réglage que si les objets que vous
observez se trouvent à des distances très différentes
les uns des autres.
Retrousser les æilletons:
A l‘attention des porteurs de lunettes : pour pouvoir
faire des observations avec des lunettes il faut retrous-
ser les œilletons en plastique 2. Ainsi, la totalité du
champ de vision peut être utilisée.

soleil avec cet appareil.

La boussole 3
Vos jumelles sont dotées d‘une boussole. Si vous ap-
puyez sur le bouton et regardez à travers les jumelles,
vous pourrez voir une indication en degrés (350, 360,...).
Si l‘indication des 360° se trouve au milieu de l‘échelle,
vous faites exactement face au nord (sud = 180°).
Mode / Calibration
1. Appuyez sur le bouton d‘alimentation pour démarrer
la boussole.
2. Maintenez le bouton d‘alimentation enfoncé pen-
dant 5 secondes. Le „Mode P“ affichera l‘angle
d‘inclinaison de -90 ° à + 90 °.
3. Appuyez et maintenez le bouton d‘alimentation en-
foncé pendant 5 secondes pour entrer en mode angle
d‘inclinaison.
4. Maintenez le bouton d‘alimentation enfoncé pendant
5 secondes supplémentaires. La boussole numérique
est maintenant calibrée automatiquement et prête à
fonctionner.
Comment changer les piles (Fig. 2):
Ôtez le couvercle en plastique du boîtier à piles 4en le
soulevant légèrement. Ouvrez alors le boîtier à piles 4
en vous aidant d‘une pièce de monnaie et changez les
piles (GP 186). Les deux piles doivent être placées dans
le boîtier avec le pôle positif vers le haut.
Entretien des jumelles:
1. Enlevez la poussière à l‘aide d‘un pinceau.
2. Pour un nettoyage plus complet utilisez un chiffon
doux et non pelucheux.
3. S‘il devait rester des traces sur la lentille, passez un
chiffon doux imprégné d‘un agent de nettoyage pour
verres optiques (en vente chez votre opticien). Ma-
niez les jumelles avec précaution et sans exercer de
pression trop forte.
Garantie et Service
La période de garantie est de 2 ans et débute le jour de
l’achat. Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse comme
preuve de l’achat. Pendant la période de garantie, les
appareils défectueux sont acceptés sur place par votre
vendeur spécialisé et seront éventuellement envoyés.
Vous obtenez en échange et gratuitement un appareil
nouveau ou réparé. Lorsque la période de garantie a
pris fin, vous avez également la possibilité d’apporter
un appareil défectueux pour le faire réparer. Lorsque la
période de garantie s’est écoulée, les réparations éven-
tuelles sont toutefois payantes.

Instellen van de ogenafstand:
De afstand van de ogen varieert van persoon tot per-
soon. Om een optimaal centreren van het ogen- en
oculairas te verkrijgen, kijkt u door de verrekijker en u
verandert de hoek van de middenas, door deze te knik-
ken tot u een helder kijkveld heeft.
Scherpstelling:
Uw verrekijker is voorzien van een enkeloculair-instelling
1. Voor het scherp stellen peilt u een verder verwijderd
(ca. 100 m) object aan. Sluit het linkeroog en draai zo-
lang aan de rechtse oculair-instelring 1, tot het gepeil-
de object scherp afgebeeld wordt. Sluit het linkeroog en
draai zolang aan de rechtse oculair-instelring 1, tot het
gepeilde object scherp afgebeeld wordt. De verrekijker
is nu precies op uw kijkscherpte ingesteld.
De enkeloculair-instelling 1is op een grotere
dieptescherpte gericht, zodat u bij het wisselen van
verschillend ver afgelegen objecten de scherpte enkel
bij grote afstandsverschillen bijstellen moet.
Omstulpen van de oogschelpen:
Belangrijk voor brillendragers: Voor waarnemingen met
een bril worden de rubberen oogschelpen 2omge-
stulpt. Zo kan het maximale gezichtsveld van de verre-
kijker optimaal gebruikt worden.
