CAUTION: Risk of electrical shock. Do not open the unit.
1. Read, keep and follow these instructions.
2. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
3. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat
registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including ampliers)
that produce heat.
4. Only use attachments/accessories specied by the
manufacturer.
5. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched,
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point
where they exit from the apparatus.
6. Unplug this apparatus during lighting storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
7. Do not let objects or liquids enter the product.
8. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is
required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way,
such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the
apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.
9. Opening the unit by unauthorized personnel will void the
limited warranty.
CAUTION: Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than herein may result in hazardous radiation
exposure or other unsafe operation.
Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to avoid making scratches to the
surface. Do not use cleaning alcohol, or other solvent uids to
clean the surface of the Cabinet as this can both damage the
coating and also cause electrical failures and re if it enters the
electronics in the unit! Before cleaning, please unplug the unit
from the AC power outlet.

Overloading: To prevent risk of re or electric shock, avoid
overloading wall outlets or extension cords.
Open re: keep this sound system a safe distance away from
any open ame such as a lit candle. No open ame sources,
such as lighted candles, should be placed on the unit.
Operating temperatures: The recommended operating
temperature range for the sound system is 5 to 40 degrees
Celsius (41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit).
Label location: The product labels and safety related markings
are located on the back of the unit and the power adaptor.
Unplugging while in operation: Do not remove the AC power
cord if music is playing.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly.
This product can be recycled. Products bearing this symbol
must NOT be thrown away with normal household waste. At the
end of the product’s life, take it to a collection point designated
for recycling of electrical and electronic devices. Find out more
about return and collection points through your local authority.

the amount of waste going to landlls, thereby reducing the

Pairing with Bluetooth Device
Bluetooth Speaker can pair with most Bluetooth 2.0 & 2.1
devices. Pairing may vary by device. Consult your Bluetooth
device’s owner’s manual for pairing instructions.
1. Press “Standby” key to switch to Bluetooth mode
2. Press and hold “PAIR” key for 3 seconds until consecutive
“beep” sound is played, the blue Bluetooth LED will ash,
while waiting for your Bluetooth device pairing.
3. Turn ON your Bluetooth device (e.g. Smart Phone). Go to
the Bluetooth settings, select “Scansonic Q1000” from list.
4. Connect your device to the BT Speaker with Bluetooth, your
device menu would show “Connected”, the blue Bluetooth
LED is now ON, to indicate pairing success.
5. You can now play your music wirelessly with the BT
Speaker.
Remark: For mobile with Bluetooth 2.0, its request to enter pass
code during pairing, press 0000
Control the music playback
Your device must support AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control
Prole) to control your device’s playback from the Speaker.
Please check your device’s owner’s manual.
When the music is being played:
• Play/Pause key
■Press once to pause the playback
■Press again to resume the playback
• Vol – key
■Press once to decrease the volume in 1 level
■Press & Hold to decrease the volume continuously (a
“bip”sounds when the unit reaches volume min)

■Press Once to increase the volume in 1 level
■Press & Hold to increase the volume continuously (a “bip”
sounds when the unit reaches volume max)
Turn the Bluetooth Speaker to Standby mode
1. When the Speaker is ON, press and hold the “standby key”.
The Bluetooth LED would turn OFF. You mobile device ID
would be saved at the speaker.
Connect the Latest Paired Bluetooth Device
1. This is a quick method to connect the Speaker with the latest
Paired Device
2. When the unit is at Standby, press “Standby” key to switch
on the Bluetooth speaker, it would connect with the device
automatically; the BT LED would keep ON when connection
is success. If the speaker cannot nd the latest Paired
Device, it would go to Waiting for Connection mode
Connect previous Paired Bluetooth Device
1. If you want to connect another paired device instead of
the latest paired one, please make sure the Bluetooth
connection of the latest device disconnect
2. Disconnect your latest connected device, the speaker will
change to Waiting for Connection Mode, the BT LED starts
ashing slowly
3. Turn ON your Bluetooth device (e.g. Smart Phone) and the
Bluetooth.
4. Select the “Scansonic Q1000” from your device Bluetooth
list to connect the speaker
5. The Bluetooth LED would keep ON at Blue when connected.
You can now play your music wirelessly with the Scansonic
Q1000

6. You can also connect your paired device under pairing mode
7. Under Waiting for Connection mode, you can simple re-
connected your latest paired device by just press “PAIR” key
once shortly
Playback Aux in device
1. Insert the Aux in jack with external device (e.g. MP3 player)
though Aux cable (not provided)
2. The speaker would switch to Aux mode automatically
3. Use your playback device to control the playback and
Volume level.
Remark:
• Please make sure your BT device is disconnected or
playback is stopped, when in Aux mode, otherwise the BT
and Aux in sound would be mixed up.
• In Aux mode, the key panel of the speaker do not have
function, please use your external device for playback
control
Charging Battery
■Connected the power adaptor to the Speaker “DC in” jack or
■Plug the Micro USB end of the USB cable into the Micro
USB port. Plug the other end into a USB port on your
computer or other devices made for USB charging. The
Charging LED light will be RED, It will turn OFF when full
charge.
Lack of Battery
When the Q1000 speaker is almost out of battery, there would
be alert sound come out, charge up the Q1000 immediately or it
would shut down automatically when battery is used up.
