• 1 rechargeable AA battery 500 mAh, Ni-Mh.
HOW THE LIGHT WORKS
The light comes with a rechargeable battery. During the day the solar panel converts
sunlight into electricity, which charges the battery. This energy is used at night, with
the light coming on automatically. The length of time that the light comes on for depends
on the geographical location, the weather and the time of year. The batteries should be
replaced when the charging capacity starts to diminish.
WHERE TO PUT YOUR LIGHT
• Choose a location that is outdoors and that receives direct sunlight for at least 8 hours
per day. If you place the light in the shade, the battery will not be charged enough, so
the light will come on for a shorter amount of time.
• You should not place the light next to any strong light sources, such as street lighting.
If you do, it may cause the light to switch o automatically, as the sensor in the light
will sense the other light source.
USE
• The light should be used outdoors.
• Extend the life of the light. Keep the light away from any areas that are too damp.
• The solar panel must not be scratched, dusty or dirty. Clean the light with a soft, damp
cloth.
• You cannot replace the LED light bulb and you must not touch it.

USING THE LIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME
Even if the battery has been fully charged by the manufacturer, you should charge the
light for one day before using it for the first time.
1. Turn the power switch to the ON position. The power switch is located at the back of
the solar panel.
2. Place the solar light in direct sunlight for 6–8 hours to charge the rechargeable bat-
tery before using it for the first time. The light will come on automatically when it gets
dark. It can take up to 4 days before the light starts to shine at its brightest.
If the light does not come on automatically at night, even after being in sunlight for 6 hours,
check the following:
• that the battery is in contact with the poles and that the + and - poles are correctly
aligned,
• that the light is in a sunny location and that the panel itself faces the sun.
The light is intended for use during the warmer seasons and should not be used below 0° C.
ASSEMBLY
• Unscrew the plastic cover from the light (A).
• Turn on the On switch on the light (B).
• Screw the plastic cover (C) back in place and position the solar light in the required
location (D).

REPLACING THE BATTERY (AA Battery 500 mAh)
• Unscrew the plastic cover from the light.
• Unscrew the two screws on the circuit board for the solar light in order to access the
battery compartment located under the circuit board.
• Remove the battery and insert a new rechargeable AA battery (with a capacity of at
least 500 mAh). Check that you have inserted the new battery correctly.
• Replace the circuit board and screws.
• Screw the plastic cover back in place on the solar light.
• Fully charge the new battery.
• Take the used battery to a recycling station.

RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original
receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that
is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user
manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE
Used products should be handled separately from
household waste. They should be taken for recycling in
accordance with local rules for waste management.

HUR BELYSNINGEN FUNGERAR
Belysningen levereras med ett uppladdningsbart batteri. Under dagen omvandlar
solcells-panelen solljuset till elektricitet och batteriet laddas. På natten utnyttjas denna
energi och belysningen tänds automatiskt. Hur länge belysningen lyser beror på geogra-
fiskt läge, väder och årstid. Batterierna bör bytas ut när laddningskapaciteten minskar.
RÄTT PLACERING
• Välj en plats utomhus med direkt solljus i minst 8 timmar per dag. I skuggiga lägen
kan batteriet inte laddas tillräckligt och därför lyser belysningen kortare tid.
• Belysningen bör inte placeras nära starka ljuskällor som t.ex. gatubelysning. Belys-
ningen kan då släckas automatiskt eftersom sensorn inne i belysningen känner av den
andra ljuskällan.
ANVÄNDNING
• Belysningen används utomhus.
• Förläng belysningens livslängd. Placera inte belysningen i en allt för fuktig miljö.
• Solcellspanelen får inte bli repig och den ska alltid vara fri från damm och smuts.
Rengör belysningen med en mjuk, fuktig trasa.
• LED-lampan är inte utbytbar och får ej vidröras.

FÖRSTA ANVÄNDNING
Även om batteriet kommer fulladdat från tillverkaren bör det laddas en dag före första
användning.
1. Ställ strömställaren i läge ON. Strömställaren är placerad på solcellspanelens baksida.
2. Placera solcellsbelysningen i direkt solljus i 6–8 h och ladda det uppladdningsbara
batteriet före första användning. Belysningen tänds automatiskt när det blir mörkt.
Det kan ta upp till 4 dagar innan belysningen lyser som starkast.
Om belysningen inte tänds automatiskt på natten trots att den har stått i solljus i 6 timmar,
kontrollera följande:
• att batteripolerna har kontakt och att polerna + och – ligger rätt mot varandra,
• att belysningen är placerad i soligt läge med panelsidan riktad mot solen.
Belysningen är avsedd för användning under den varma årstiden och bör inte användas i
temperaturer under 0° C.
MONTERING
• Skruva loss plastkåpan från armaturen (A).
• Slå på On-switchen på armaturen (B).
• Skruva tillbaka plastkåpan (C) och placera sollcelslampan på önskad plats (D).

BYTE AV BATTERI (AA-Batteri 500 mAh)
• Skruva loss plastkåpan från solcellslampan.
• Skruva loss de två skruvarna på kretskortet till solcellslampan, för att komma åt
batterifacket som sitter på undersidan av kretskortet.
• Ta ur batteriet och lägg i ett nytt laddningsbart AA batteri (med minst 500 mAh
kapacitet). Kontrollera att det nya batteriet är rätt monterat. sätt tillbaka kretskortet
på sin plats och skruva i skruvarna igen.
• Skruva tillbaka plastkåpan på solcellslampan.
• Ladda det nya batteriet fullt.
• Lämna det uttjänta batteriet till en återvinningsstation.

INFORMATION OM MILJÖFARLIGT AVFALL
Uttjänt produkt ska hanteras separat från hushållsavfall och
lämnas in för återvinning enligt lokala regler för avfallshantering
REKLAMATIONSRÄTT
Enligt gällande lag ska produkten vid reklamation lämnas in på inköpsstället och
originalkvitto bifogas. Användaren är ansvarig för eventuella skador på produkten om
produkten använts till ändamål den inte är avsedd för eller om bruksanvisningen inte
följts. Reklamationsrätten gäller i sådant fall inte.

Belysningen kan da bli slått av automatisk fordi sensoren inne i belysningen registre-
rer den andre lyskilden.
BRUK
• Belysningen brukes utendørs.
• Forleng belysningens levetid. Ikke plasser belysningen i et altfor fuktig miljø.
• Solcellepanelet må ikke ripes opp, og det skal alltid være fritt for støv og smuss.
Rengjør belysningen med en myk, fuktig klut.
• LED-lampen kan ikke skiftes ut og må ikke røres.
