SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all safety information before use.

• Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the

rating label of the coee maker.

• Connect only to a grounded outlet.

• Do not immerse appliance, cord or plug in water or other liquid.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

• The use of accessory is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer.

It may result in ﬁre, electric shock and/or personal injury.

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.

• To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet. Always hold the plug. But never pull the cord.

• Do not use appliance for other than intended use and place it in a dry environment.

• Do not leave the coee maker unattended while it is operating, the appliance

can not be operated by children.

• Be careful not to get burned by the steam.

• Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.

• Never use the appliance if the carafe shows any signs of cracks. Only use the

carafe with this appliance. Use carefully as the carafe is very fragile.

• Never use your coee maker without water in it.

• Stand the appliance on a table or ﬂat surface.

• For indoor use only.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and

persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance

shall not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the

appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

– sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments

– farm houses

– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments

– bed and breakfast type environments

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its

service agent or similarly qualiﬁed persons in order to avoid a hazard.

• Misuse may cause injury.

• Heating element surface is subjected to residual heat after use.

• The coee maker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use.

• Save these instructions.

USING THE MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME

1. Before making coee you should use the coe maker once with water only

(without coee or ﬁlter paper).

2. First, take the required length of cable from the storage compartment, and

clamp in position.

3. Insert the plug into the socket.

4. Fill the carafe with cold water, tip up the lid, pour water from the ﬂask into

the water tank, tip down the lid in original position.

5. Place the carafe in original position.

Note that the lid should be tightened correctly.

6. Start the brewing process by pressing the On/O switch.

FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

1. To prepare Coee or Tea: Take a standard 1X2 Paper ﬁlter and put into the

Filter Basket then add necessary amount of ground coee (approx. 7g per cup)

or Tea. Insert the Filter Assembly into position. Fill up the Water Container with

required quantity of water, put on the Lid and place Carafe into position. Turn on

the switch, the indicator light up, the appliance start working.

2. Anti-drip function: Consumer can take out the Carafe during cooking and the

Anti-drip Valve will function and no Coee or Tea will drip out. Dripping will

start again after located the Carafe in position on the Warming Plate. To prevent

overﬂow from Filter, never take Carafe away over 20 second. If needed, turn o

the appliance after take o the Carafe.

3. Auto Keep Warm: After the brewing completed, the Keep warm function will

start automatically if the appliance still in ‘ON’ position.

4. Temperature Control device: When the appliance is in ‘ON’ Position without water

or after ﬁnished brewing water, the temperature will increase and the Temperature

Control device will cut o the power automatically at the required temperature.

5. Fuse device: This appliance equipped with a second temperature protection.

In case the Temperature Control device malfunction, the Fuse device will cut

o the power. Unplug the appliance at once.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Disconnect the appliance.

• Never immerse the appliance in water.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth only.

• The carafe can be cleaned with warm water, some washing-up liquid and a soft

brush. Do not clean the carafe in a dishwasher.

DESCALING

To make sure that your coee maker goes on producing perfect coee you will need,

from time to time, to descale it. Frequency will depend on how hard the water is in

your area, and how often you use the coee maker. If you use your coee maker

once or twice a day, it is recommended that the maker be cleaned every 6–8 weeks.

If the time it takes to brew a can of coee suddenly is increased it is recommended

that the coee maker is descaled. The harder the water is in your area, the more

often the coee maker needs to be descaled. The hardness of the water can be

advised at your local waterworks.

ENVIRONMENTAL TIP

An electronic appliance should, when it is no longer capable of functioning be

disposed with least possible environmental damage. The appliance should be

disposed according to the local regulations in your municipality, in most cases you

can discharge the appliance at your local recycling center.

Grounds and coee ﬁlter can be disposed via a compost container.

CAUTION

• The electrical voltage must correspond with the voltage stated on the label on

the bottom of the appliance.

• Use only cold water!

• Ensure the carafe is placed properly in its position when brewing coee.

• Between brewing processes switch o the appliance and let it cool down for

about 5 minutes. Then reﬁll with cold water.

• After the brewing process, always switch o the appliance.

• Disconnect the appliance before cleaning.

• To switch o the appliance use the On/O switch.

• The control lamp going out indicates when the maschine is o.

• The appliance must not be immersed.

against it or if it has been damaged in any other way.

• errors or faults owing to defects in the distribution system.
