assigned to the pper section of the keyboard.

Live Set 009 D-50 Magic

*It so nds best if yo set the tempo to 98 BPM (press the Tempo b tton, and se the val e dial)

Instant Patch Switching & Perfect Patch Remain

When yo switch to the next patch while yo are playing, the Fantom-G is able to switch it instantly and will

carry over the released notes, the s stained notes, and the effects of the previo s so nd. Therefore, the

transition so nds smooth and m sical. This is possible in the Single and Live mode.

* Yo can also connect a pedal (DP Series) and se it to change the patch.

Yo ’ll notice how the patch changes instantly and the last patch fades o t nat rally. This is especially

important d ring live performance beca se yo don’t want any glitches in yo r so nd.

2) Hold down some notes. 3)

While holding down the

notes, press the INC or DEC

b ttons to change the patch.

Play the new patch. Repeat

steps 2 to 4 several times.

Select any so nd in the

Live or Single mode.

New Bender Mode

The pitch bend lever has 5 modes. Depending on the type of so nd and phrase that yo want

to play, yo can choose the most s itable mode.

Set the bend mode.

Choose the patch that yo

want to set the bend mode.

Press PATCH, then F6 “Pro

Edit”.

Use the F1 “Gro p/Up” or

F2 “Gro p/Down” b ttons to

select “Pitch”.

Use the p or down

c rsor b ttons to select

“Bend Mode”.

Use the DEC or INC

b ttons to change the

mode.

Below are the bend modes:

Normal Standard pitch bend behavior.

Touch When yo bend the lever p or down, the pitch will change contin o sly. However, as

soon as the lever moves back towards the center position, the pitch will immediately

change to the center position.

Catch When yo play a note while the lever is already bent p or down, the pitch of that note

will be played in the center position. The pitch of that note will only be affected when

the lever passes the center position.

Last* This only bends the last note played. This is sef l when holding down several notes

and playing a solo on top. The pitch bend is only applied to the last note of yo r solo.

Catch + Last Catch and Last modes work at the same time. This is especially s itable for playing

g itar phrases. For example with the Catch mode, yo can bend a note and play the

original pitch as if yo are bending the same note on a g itar string and immediately

striking the same note. The Last mode is also sef l for playing a thentic g itar

phrases. For example, yo can str m a chord and bend the last note, which is a

common g itar techniq e.

* Use patch PRST 394 to demonstrate “Last” bend mode

SuperNATURAL Expansion Board

“S perNATURAL ARX Expansion Boards”. Not only do they add

What is SuperNATURAL?
