Green coffee machine
Enjoy your favourite coffee in an eco-friendly way
with the uniquely designed SENSEO®Viva Café Eco.
Because half of its plastics are recycled and it saves
energy with its 5-minute auto shut-off function, this
is the most sustainable SENSEO®coffee machine
yet. Now you can enjoy the coffee you love, from
a stylish machine, while helping to protect the
environment.
Philips uses the latest technologies to create
products that are good for the environment,
in terms of material usage as well as energy
consumption.The Philips SENSEO®Viva Café Eco
coffee machine is made of 50% recycled plastics.
Recycled plastics are environment friendly because
they are derived from other products that are no
longer used. This production method results in
considerably less waste than the traditional method
of creating new parts.
At the end of the machine’s life, up to 90% of its
materials can be recycled thanks to its design and
the materials that were used to produce it.
This is a green product according to Philips’ own
requirements. Philips has committed itself to
continuously improving its performance in the green
focus areas: energy efficiency, packaging, hazardous
substances, weight, recycling, disposal and lifetime
reliability. For more information on this and other
environmental efforts by Philips, please visit
www.asimpleswitch.com
Because of the recycled materials used, there may
be some slight blemishes in the colour of the plastics.
Philips tries to ensure that these blemishes are not in
view on the nished product.
