COMFORT COOLER CONTROL UNIT
The Comfort Cooler Control Unit is the brains of the system and
contains state of the art thermoelectric cooling technologies. The
digital temperature display has two buttons on the left side for
changing temperature and one button on the right side for turning off
the temperature display. See pages 3, 4, & 5 of this user manual for
further information.
Chilled water is circulated from the control unit through tubing into the
aqua mat. For optimal performance, the Control Unit should have at
least 12 inches between it and other solid objects or walls to allow for
proper air flow.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL PANEL
The Temperature Control Display has a red number at the top, which is
the current water temperature, and a blue number on the bottom,
which is your target water temperature. On the face of the Temperature
Control you will find three small buttons. The Display Light Switch gives
you the choice to turn the display light off & on as some people may
prefer to have complete darkness when they sleep
•The SET and °C/°F buttons are used in tandem to control and
program your comfort cooler:
•To change the display between Celsius and Fahrenheit, tap the °C/°F
button once.
•To set the target temperature of the water, tap the SET button once.

AQUA MAT
The Comfort Cooler Aqua Mat comes in two sizes: pillow size and full
length single. During operation, the Control Unit chills and circulates
water throughout the Aqua Mat. The Aqua Mat is intended to be placed
on a bed or office and household furniture. If the Aqua Mat shows
excessive wear or begins leaking it should be replaced. Replacement
Aqua Mats can be purchased at the Personal Cooling Systems website.

7
WATER SUPPLY TUBING
The water supply line provides a continuous flow of chilled water from
the control unit to the Aqua Mat. The supply and return lines are
enclosed in an insulating material for optimal cooling results. During use
it is important to make sure the tubes are not bent or kinked in any way.
Do not place heavy objects on the tubing or do anything that would
impede the water flow.

8
POWER SUPPLY WITH CABLE
The power cable and adaptor will be plugged into the wall and the
control unit to supply power to the system. The power cable and adaptor
will convert standard household AC to 19.5V DC m,-.=-/, which is used to
power to the device.
*Use only the power supply provided with the Comfort Cooler, do not
use a power source from any other electronic devices. *
If you have any questions about the electrical system in your house.
Contact a licensed electrician to verify the outlets are installed and
working correctly before using the Comfort Cooler.

STEPS TO SETUP THE COMFORT COOLER
Please follow the below steps prior to enjoying your Comfort Cooler:
•Plugin the device to standard wall outlet
•Verify hoses are connected to the Control Unit and the Aqua Mat.
•Place the Control Unit on the bed or chair so that it is elevated
above the aqua mat. This will help water flow into the system
during setup.
•While holding the clear reservoir with 1 hand unscrew the black lid
with your other hand.
•Start filling the Comfort Cooler by pouring water into the Control
Unit via the clear reservoir tube
•Turn on the Control Unit and verify the blue power button is
illuminated
•As soon as the Control Unit it turned on the water level will drop.
Continue adding water slowly until the water level is visible in the
water reservoir.
•Once the Aqua Mat is filling with water, it is recommended to slide a
hand over the mat from the center outwards to the corners. This will
force water to the edges of the Aqua Mat and improve water flow.
•Let the Comfort Cooler run for 5 minutes, continue to add water as
needed unit the water level reaches the bottom of the threads in
the clear water tube of the reservoir.
•While holding the clear reservoir with 1 hand screw on the lid until
had tight. Being careful not to over tighten.
