3. General Guidelines

of this manual.

liquids.
Keep this device away from dust and extreme temperatures.
Protect this device from shocks and abuse. Avoid brute force when
operating the device.
•Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually
using it.
•All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons.
•Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an
unauthorised way will void the warranty.

•Make sure batteries are inserted. Refer to §7.
•Press the mode button [6] to scroll through the different functional
modes:
•First press: torch
•Second press: bright white lantern
•Third press: moderate yellow lantern
•Fourth press: off
•The bungee strap [2] can be used in two ways:
o[A]: to hang the lantern on a tent pole etc. …
o[B]: to carry as a torch.
7. Ba eries
•Replace the batteries when the light becomes dim.
•Switch off the device [6] and unscrew the torch head [5] (counter
clockwise).
•Gently pull the battery holder [4] from the housing [3].
•Insert 3 new 1.5V AA batteries following the polarity as indicated inside
the battery compartment. Only use new batteries of the same type with
the same specifications.
•Slide the battery holder [4] back into the housing [3]. It fits in only
one way; do not force.
•Screw the torch head [5] back in place (clockwise).

6. Emploi

•Placer des piles dans l’appareil. Se référer au chapitre §7.
•Enfoncer le sélecteur [6] pour sélectionner le mode :
•Enfoncer une fois : torche.
•Enfoncer deux fois : lanterne à lumière blanche.
•Enfoncer trois fois : lanterne à lumière jaune tempérée.
•Enfoncer quatre fois : extinction.
•Utiliser le tendeur [2] comme suit :
o[A] : Fixation à une branche ou à la tente…
o[B] : Poignée de transport.
7. Les piles
•Remplacer les piles dès que l’intensité s’affaiblit.
•Allumer l’appareil [6] et dévisser la tête [5].
•Retirer délicatement le support pour les piles [4] du boîtier [3].
•Insérer 3 piles R6 de 1,5 V selon les indications de polarité. N’utiliser
que des piles neuves d’un même type.
•Réinsérer le support pour les piles [4] dans le boîtier [3].
•Revisser la tête [5] sur l’appareil.

1. Inleiding

Dit symbool op het toestel of de verpakking geeft aan dat, als
het na zijn levenscyclus wordt weggeworpen, dit toestel
schade kan toebrengen aan het milieu. Gooi dit toestel (en
eventuele batterijen) niet bij het gewone huishoudelijke afval;
het moet bij een gespecialiseerd bedrijf terechtkomen voor
recyclage. U moet dit toestel naar uw verdeler of naar een
lokaal recyclagepunt brengen. Respecteer de plaatselijke
milieuwetgeving.

bediening.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.

•Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade
door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt niet onder de
garantie.
•Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Bij onoordeelkundig
gebruik vervalt de garantie.
•De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde
richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid
afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee
houden.

6. Gebruik

•Plaats batterijen in het toestel. Raadpleeg §7.
•Kies de stand met de keuzeschakelaar [6]:
•Eenmaal drukken: zaklamp.
•Tweemaal drukken: lantaarn met helder witte led.
•Driemaal drukken: lantaarn met zachte, gele led.
•Viermaal drukken: uitschakelen.
•Gebruik de snelbinder [2] als volgt:
o[A]: Hang de lantaarn aan een tak of de tent…
o[B]: Handvat voor gebruik als zaklamp.
7. De ba erijen
•Vervang de batterijen van zodra de lichtsterkte verzwakt.
•Schakel het toestel uit Switch [6] en schroef de kop [5] los.
•Verwijder de batterijhouder [4] uit de behuizing [3].
•Plaats 3 nieuwe AA-batterijen van elk 1,5 V volgens de
polariteitaanduidingen. Gebruik enkel batterijen van hetzelfde type.
•Plaats de batterijhouder [4] voorzichtig terug in de behuizing [3].
•Schroef de kop [5] opnieuw op het toestel.
