ABouT THe VOODOO® sPeAKer
The VOODOO® voodoo speaker is a powerful boombox made in france. it
connects wirelessly and / or with mini-jack to your smartphone, tablet or
other bluetooth and / or mini-jack device output so you can enjoy your
music, videos and games anytime and everywhere.
SYSTEM FEATURES
• You can charge your phone with a USB port directly to your speaker.
• The lithium-ion battery allows you to listen to music for hours. The battery
is rechargeable.
• The charger has to be plug directly into the speaker.
• You can connect an audio device thanks to the AUX-IN.
• You can connect one ore more VOODOO® to each other thanks to the AUX-
OuT .
• You can bring the VOODOO® everywhere thanks to its backpack function.

The material used and the manufacturing process of the VOODOO® speaker
gives a unique aesthetic to the speaker. The exclusivity of the product does
not alter in any way its performance.
A team is working full time on the manufacture of your product to offer you a
quality speaker “Handmade in the Alps”.
Unpack carefully the elements and check if all these components are present:

To set up the slings on your speaker:
1. Differentiate the left shoulder sling and the right sling inside the box.
2. Attach the hooks on the top of the sling to the hooks on the top of the
speaker and attach the lower hooks of the sling to the hooks on the bottom
of the speaker.
3. Adjust your slings according to your needs. Slide the loop on the slings to
shorten or lengthen the strap to nd the perfect length.

CHArging THe VOODOO®
Before using your speaker for the rst time, connect it to the power outlet
and charge the battery.
1. Connect the power cord to the charger connector of the VOODOO®
speaker.
2. Connect the other end of the power cord to the AC power cord.
3. Connect the power cord to a powered electrical outlet.
COMMENT :
Use the right adapter for your country.
The battery indicator is orange when it is charging.
The indicator turns green when the speaker is fully charged.
The charging time is about two and half hours.

Press the button on the interface to turn on your speaker. A green light
appears.

You can, with the control buttons:
1. Turn your speaker on or off.
2. Control the volume of your speaker.
3. Select the audio source: Bluetooth connection, mini-jack connection or
both.
4. Disconnect any connected Bluetooth device and connect a new one.
5. Pair two VOODOO® speakers.

Mini-JACK CABLe use
With the IN input you can connect your speaker to:
- A smartphone, tablet, computer, or any other type of audio player.
- A mic.
- A musical instrument (for example: a guitar)
- A mixing deck.
The INput jack accepts a 3.5mm male stereo mini jack (included).
COMMENT: a 6.3 mm jack cable can be connected by using an adapter (not
supplied).

V1. Function indicator light. The indicator is illuminated when the speaker
in on. The indicator is off when the speaker is no longer on. The indicator is
ashing red when the maximum sound power is reached.

1. Turn on your speaker.
2. The led indicator AuX is automatically alight.
3. Using a 3.5mm stereo cable, connect your device to the AUX -IN connector
on the speaker.
4. Press play on your audio player.
5. Press the button +to activate the sound of your speaker.
ADVICE: For an optimal sound, increase the volume of your connected device
(the maximum is recommended). Then, use the volume control buttons of
your speaker.
BE CAREFUL:
Never connect at the same time your
mini-jack cable on the plug IN and OuT.
You risk to damage the system.

PAiring A MoBiLe deViCe
With the Bluetooth system you can connect wirelessly your speaker to any
mobile device having a Bluetooth function.
1. Turn on your speaker.
2. Press the button AuX until the Led Bluetooth indicator light turns on. The
Bluetooth indicator V2 is ashing, searching for the device.
Pairing a mobile device :
1. Turn on the Bluetooth feature in the Settings of your mobile device.
2. Select PEOPEOxxx in your device list.
3. The Bluetooth indicator V2 stops ashing when your mobile device is
connected to your speaker.
4. Play your music. Press the button +to activate the sound on your speaker.
Remember to adjust the volume on your mobile device and on your speaker
with the +and –buttons.
BE CAREFUL:
It is recommended to place your mobile and your speaker at 10 meters of
each other.
Over 15 meters, the speaker will no longer receive the signal.

BLueTooTH / Mini-JACK ConneCTion
It is possible to connect a device with a mini-jack cable and at the same time
connect a mobile device with a Bluetooth connection
1. Connect your mobile device with a mini-jack cable (see page 12). The led
mini-jack indicator V4 lights up. Press the button +to activate the sound on
your speaker. Adjust the volume with the control buttons.
2. Connect your second device to Bluetooth (see page 13). Your connected
mini-jack source will stop while you adjust your Bluetooth source. Press the
button + to turn on the sound of your speaker. Adjust the volume.
3. Press the button AuX, to light the led mini-jack indicator V4 and the led
bluetooth indicator V3. Then press the button +. Both devices will be ready
to be heard.
4. If you press the buttons +and -, the volume of each source will increase or
decrease from the presets you made.

True wireLess sTereo
BE CAREFUL:
This feature only works if the audio source is connected in Bluetooth. The
volume of each speaker is dissociated and can be set separately. To dis-
connect all your Bluetooth connected devices, press the Bluetooth button
(see page 9).

It is possible to create a Hi-Fi stereo system by connecting two VOODOO®
speakers together.
1. Turn on your speakers.
2. Press the button AuX and choose the Bluetooth function on each speaker.
3. Choose your “slave” speaker. This speaker is the device which is not
connected to the sound source.
4. On the « slave » speaker, press the button True Wireless Stereo for more
than three (3) seconds The V5 indicator ashes slowly.
5. The second speaker is the « master ». Briey press the True Wireless Strereo
button. The led indicator ashes quickly. Connect your device to Bluetooth.
6. The True Wireless Stereo is working when all indicators stop to ash.
7. Press the button +to activate the sound of your speaker.

Mini-JACK / Mini-JACK
You can connect your mobile device to multiple speakers.
1. Using a 3.5mm mini-jack cable, connect your device to the AUX-IN connector
on the speaker.
2. Then connect a 3.5mm mini - jack cable to the AUX - OuT connector of your
speaker and to the AUX - IN connector on the second VOODOO® speaker.
3. Adjusting the volume of the speaker connected to the source will affect the
volume of the second speaker. However the second speaker can be adjusted
again by increasing or decreasing the volume directly with its control buttons.
ADVICE:
If you want even more power, you can repeat it with as many VOODOO®
speakers as you want.
COMMENT:
You can do the same by connecting your mobile device in Bluetooth.

BATTErY uSE
When the battery is fully charged you can use your speaker for 15 hours in
a normal use.
The battery discharge time varies depending on the features used (USB
charger, Bluetooth connection, True Wireless Stereo connection ...)
COMMENT:
Your speaker will be fully charged after 2h30.
To increase the battery autonomy, reduce the sound volume.

rePLACing THe BATTerY
After 500 cycles of use, the battery autonomy will decrease by 10%. The
battery will last 13h instead of 15h initially.
BE CAREFUL:
The user must not repair or replace the battery supplied with the system. It
is necessary to contact PEOPEO customer service for any problem related to
the battery.

CHArging Your MoBiLe deViCes
You can charge different types of mobile devices such as a mobile phone,
tablet or electronic cigarette thank to the USB plug on the side of your
speaker.

rAin CoVer
The VOODOO® was made for an outdoor and indoor use.
It has made to resist to a « normal » climate and environment. It meets the
IP44 waterproof standard.
The rain cover protects your speaker from bad weather such as heavy rain.
Easy to put on, you have to place it on the front of the VOODOO® speaker.
ADVICE :
When not in use, it is better to store and protect it in a well-ventilated area
away from high temperatures, dust and moisture.
COMMENT:
To prevent any malfunction, the VOODOO® must be protected from bad
weather. When the VOODOO® speaker is not used, it is better to store it in
a clean and dry place.

BE CAREFUL:
The side pockets must be added when the speaker is manufactured.
It is impossible to ad this option after the speaker is delivered, except if
you send it back to PEOPEO company.
