software

package

that

allows

you

temporarily

interrupt

program

perform

other

functions

and

then

return

directly

the

program

that

was

interrupted.

Valet

functions

range

from

simply

displaying

the

date

and

time

day

performing

complex

mathematical

calculations.

When

the

Valet

function

complete,

single

keystroke

returns

you

the

interrupted

program

•

immediately.

How

might

you

use

this?

Say

you're

working

report

using

WordStar-

Plus

and

need

figure

some

'percentages

for

inclusion

the

report.

You

can

quickly

switch

Valet's

calculator,

make

the

required

calculations,

and

just

quickly

return

your

report.

Continuing

with

this

example,

after

you make

the

calculations

and

return

WordStar-Plus,

you

could

type

table

based

your

calculations

and

then

use

Valet's

screen

dump

what

displayed

the

screen.

When

the

printout

complete,

you

can

instantly

return

WordStar-Plus

with

the

cursor

the

point

interruption

your

report,

just

though

you

had

never

left

the

program.

and

also

trying

maintain

your

schedule,

you can

use

Valet's

alarm

function

schedule

alarms

that

will

sound

specif

ied

times

with

messages

remind

you

meetings

other

obligations.

Valet·s

·Set-Up

Mode·

functions

are

the

top

row

the

keyboard

template

and

displayed

the

screen

when

you

press

CTRL

and

ESC

simultaneously.

You

may

then

press

the

appropriate

number key

for

your

desired

function

press

ESC

again

return

what

you

were

doing

before

activating

Set-Up

Mode.

Valet·s

·Main

Menu·

functions

are

accessed

while

Set-Up

Mode

pressing

the

TAB

key.

The Main

displays

options

for

using

the

calculator,

alarms,

printer

installation,

and

screen

dump

functions.

You

can

also

bypass

this

menu and

directly

from

Set-up

Mode

the

desired

Valet

functIon.

The

interrupted

program

remains

the

screen

when

Valet

being

used.

When

you

are

finished

with

the

Valet

function,

Attache

returns

directly

the

interrupted

program.

Valet

functions

require

that

these

files

are

the

diskette

inserted

VALET.VLI

contains

programs

for

alarms,

screen

dump,

printer

install,

calculator.

programs

will

work
