WARNINGS
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
• DO NOT strike, shake or drop the scale.
• DO NOT step on the scale with wet feet, glass surface could be slippery.
• Keep the scale dry.
• Keep standing still during the course of weighing.
• Avoid breaking the scales by striking the glass with a sharp object or by dropping. Store your
scales horizontally; do not store them in its side. The batteries should only be replaced by
adults.Do not allow children to use the appliance unless the battery cover is attached.
• Failure to properly align the battery polarity correctly can cause damage to the product and
can cause a fire hazard.
The battery type used in this product is two 1.5V AAA size batteries. These batteries are
located internally and readily accessible.
Remove the battery cover to remove the batteries.
These batteries must be disposed of at your local recycling point.
Replacing the batteries
1.Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the scale.
2.Insert two batteries observing the polarity indicated in the battery compartment.
3.Attach the battery cover.

Measuring Weight
1.Place the scale on a hard and flat surface.
2.Step on the scale and stand still.
The scale display will flash to indicate that the reading
is accepted.
3. In case you want to change the measurement unit,
Choose pounds (lb) or kilograms (kg) by setting the
unit switch located on the back of the scale. After the
desired unit is selected, wait for the scale to switch off then step on the scale again to
measure your weight in the selected unit.
NOTE: If the scale is not used for approximately 10 seconds, the scale will automatically switch off.

Il convient d'attirer l'attention sur les problèmes d'environnement dus à la mise au rebut des
piles usagées de façon sure. Déposez-les dans des bacs de collecte prévus pour cet effet
(renseignez-vous auprès de votre revendeur afin de protéger l'environnement).
Les différents types de piles ou les piles neuves avec les piles usagées ne doivent pas être
mélangées
Les piles doivent être installées en respectant la polarité +/-.
Les piles usagées doivent être enlevées de l'appareil.
Le connecteur d'alimentation ne doit pas être court-circuité.

Ce pèse-personne doit toujours reposer sur une surface plane et dure lorsqu'il fonctionne.
NE PAS utiliser sur une moquette.
Ce pèse-personne ne doit pas subir de chocs ou de chutes, ni être secoué.
Ne montez pas sur le pèse-personne avec les pieds mouillés, vous risqueriez de glisser sur
la surface de verre.
Ce pèse-personne doit être gardé au sec.
Restez immobile pendant la pesée.
Évitez de heurter le pèse-personne avec un objet dur ou de tomber dessus, vous risqueriez
de briser la surface en verre. Le pèse-personne doit être rangé à l'horizontale, jamais à la
verticale.Les piles doivent impérativement être changées par un adulte. Ne laissez pas un
enfant utiliser le pèse-personne si le couvercle du compartiment à pile n'est pas en place.
Si la pile n'est pas placée dans le bon sens, l'appareil risque d'être endommagé, voire même
de prendre feu.
Cet appareil fonctionne avec deux piles AAA de 1,5V. Ces piles sont situées à l'intérieur et
sont facilement accessibles.
Pour sortir les piles, ôtez le couvercle du compartiment à piles.
À la fin de leur durée de vie, les piles doivent être apportées au centre de recyclage le plus
proche.
Changement des piles
1.Ôtez le couvercle des piles situé sous l'appareil.
2.Insérez les 2 piles en respectant les indications de polarité figurant dans le compartiment.
3.Remettez en place le couvercle des piles.

FONCTIONNEMENT
Mesure de poids
1.Placez le pèse-personne sur une surface plane et dure.
2.Montez sur le pèse-personne et tenez-vous droit.
Les chiffres clignotent à l'écran, indiquant que la mesure
est valable.
3. Pour changer l'unité de poids, mettez le bouton situé
à l'arrière sur livres (lb) ou sur kilogrammes (kg) selonl'unité
souhaitée. Une fois l'unité sélectionnée, attendez que le
pèse-personne s'éteigne puis montez dessus à nouveau pour mesurer votre poids avec
l'unité choisie.
REMARQUE : Au bout d'environ 10 secondes d'inactivité, le pèse-personne s'éteint automatiquement.

Si l'écran affiche "C", descendez du pèse-personne puis remontez à nouveau dessus.
Lorsque l'écran affiche "Lo", les piles ont besoin d'être changées.
En cas de surcharge, l'écran du pèse-personne affiche "Err". Descendez tout de suite
afin d'éviter de l'endommager.

Gebruik de weegschaal alleen op een harde, vlakke ondergrond. NIET op een vloerkleed
gebruiken.
Stoot of schud de weegschaal NIET en laat haar niet vallen.
Ga NIET op de weegschaal staan met natte voeten omdat het glazen oppervlak glad kan
worden.
Houd de weegschaal droog.
Blijf stilstaan tijdens het wegen.
Voorkom dat de weegschaal breekt door haar te laten vallen of met een scherp voorwerp
tegen het glas te stoten. Bewaar uw weegschaal horizontaal en zet ze niet op de zijkant neer.
De batterijen mogen uitsluitend door volwassenen worden vervangen. Laat kinderen het
apparaat niet gebruiken wanneer het batterijdeksel niet bevestigd is.
Verkeerd ingezette batterijen kunnen het apparaat beschadigen en brandgevaar inhouden.
In dit product worden twee batterijen van het type 1,5 V AAA gebruikt. Deze batterijen bevinden
zich binnenin het apparaat en zijn gemakkelijk toegankelijk.
Verwijder het batterijdeksel om de batterijen te verwijderen.
Deze batterijen moeten naar een handelszaak die batterijen verkoopt worden teruggebracht
zodat ze gerecycled kunnen worden.

De batterijen vervangen
1.Verwijder het batterijdeksel aan de onderkant van de weegschaal.
2.Zet twee batterijen met de polariteit in de correcte richting in het batterijvak.
3.Sluit het batterijdeksel.

1.Zet de weegschaal neer op een harde en vlakke ondergrond.
2.Ga op de weegschaal staan en blijf stilstaan.
De display van de weegschaal gaat knipperen om aan te geven
dat de meting is aanvaard.
3. Om een andere meeteenheid te kiezen:
Schakel de eenheidsschakelaar op de achterkant van het
apparaat in de stand pond (lb) of kilogram (kg). Nadat de
gewenste meeteenheid is geselecteerd, wacht u tot de weegschaal uitschakelt, waarna u
opnieuw op de weegschaal kan gaan staan om uw gewicht in de geselecteerde meeteenheid
te meten.
OPMERKING: de weegschaal schakelt automatisch uit wanneer ze een tiental seconden niet wordt gebruikt.
