Overview
An ultra modern and stylish video intercom system featuring a colour 3.5” TFT LCD screen on the base
unit. The all-weather, vandal resistant, cast aluminium door station features a LED for night time
illumination. The hands-free LCD base unit enables intercom, surveillance and activation of door release
solenoids. The system may be expanded to include four LCD screens and two outdoor camera units for
use in homes with multiple entrances. If multiple base units are installed they may be used as an internal
home intercom system. S 9402A system includes 1 x LCD base unit, 1 x door camera unit. For installations
requiring 2 indoor or 2 outdoor stations, the additional part numbers of S 9403A and S 9404A must be
ordered as they contain junction boxes for correct operation.

Installation
1. Determine the mounting locations for both outdoor camera and base station. To ensure people are
within view when the camera is mounted, bear in mind the camera’s 55 degree viewing angle. Typical
wall mounting height 1450mm. Ensure you are satisfied with the viewing position of the camera and
base station before drilling any holes in your wall.
2. At the selected base station mounting location, attach the mounting bracket to the wall securely using
the template and hardware provided. In the centre of the bracket, drill a hole for the electrical and
camera signal wiring.
3. Connect the wiring between the base station and camera as per figure 3.
4. Slide the base station down against the mounting bracket until the hooks on the bracket secure the unit
in place.
5. Switch on AC power to the unit.
6. Switch the on the base station (see figure 1 for location of on/off switch.)
Important mounting guidelines: Do not install the monitor and camera units where they will be exposed
to dirt, moisture, excessive humidity, temperature (+40°C) or constant direct sunlight. Do not select a loca-
tion where it will be exposed to vibration. Select a location close to an AC power outlet where it is easy to
view the screen and operate the monitor.
Installation With Two Indoor Base Stations
Follow the wiring diagram shown in figure 4. The second base station simply connects into the first base
station via the additional 4 way header terminal.
