To get started with your AV1, plug it into an outlet.
The bottom front lights will light up to indicate
successful charging.

Leave your AV1 plugged in overnight on rst use
to charge the battery to 100%. We recommend
charging the unit every night to ensure a
full charge.

Wait 2 to 5 minutes for the headlights to change
from a red cross to a row of lights. If the red cross
does not disappear after 5 minutes, please visit our
support pages for more information on what to do.

Indication of network coverage. The number of
lights shows signal strength. AV1 works best on 4G
or WiFi.
A. Disconnected and looking for network

Search for “AV1” in App Store or Google Play to
download the app onto your phone or tablet. AV1
can only connect to one device at a time, so make

sure to use the device that you’ll be using on a
daily basis!

This is your unique one-time activation key that
belongs to your AV1. Input this key when prompted
during app setup to pair your device with AV1.

Complete the additional setup steps within the app
and you’re ready to start your rst AV1 session! Tap
the connect button to initiate the session, upon
doing this AV1’s head will raise, and eyes will light
up to indicate to the people in its vicinity that the
session has begun.

Able to turn a full 360 degrees, AV1 can be
maneuvered with just the swipe of a nger. To
move AV1 left or right, swipe your nger left or
right on the screen as shown.

To move AV1 up or down, swipe your nger upward
or downward.

For advanced options tap the mini AV1 icon to
reveal a control panel for volume, setting your
activity status, raising your hand to ask or answer
questions, and the ability to end the session.

Adjust the volume that those around AV1 will hear
by selecting from three dierent options; normal,
whispering, or mute. Normal volume is used for
talking to the whole class, whispering is better
one-on-one or when you split up in smaller groups,
and of course mute turns o the speaker entirely.

Change participation status from active mode to
observer mode to indicate that you don’t wish to
be communicated with directly. This is displayed
with blue lights atop AV1’s head and can quickly
be switched back to active mode by tapping the
happy emoji.

Ask or answer a question by tapping the raise hand
icon, this will activate a white light sequence (blue
when in observer mode) atop AV1’s head, which
will notify the teacher and fellow students.
15.
At the end of the day you can quickly and easily
end your AV1 session by tapping the phone icon
followed by the red hangup icon.

hode, og kan lett endres tilbake til deltakende ved
å trykke på smilefjeset.

Still eller svar på et spørsmål ved å trykke på rekk
opp hånd-ikonet. Hodet til AV1 vil blinke, slik at
læreren og medelever kan se det.
15.
På slutten av dagen kan du enkelt koble deg fra
AV1 ved å trykke på telefon-ikonet, etterfulgt av
det røde legg på-ikonet.
