keepthetoolsideseparated.
Whenyoustarttooperatetherobotapproachestothe
toolingsideforchuckingoperation,pleasemakesureto
close the cams. If the robot is going to chuck with the
camsopen,thecamswillcollidewiththelockpinsand
ATCwillbedamaged.

TomovethesystemwithATCjointedtogetherwithoutair
supply,useropetobindthemandpreventtoolsidefrom
falling.
Continuoussignalingisrecommendedforsolenoidvalvesforchuck/unchuck.Pleasedonʼtuseone-shotsignaling
becauseitmaynotmaintainthejointduetomalfunctioncausedbyanynoiseresultingintoolsidefalling.

Theconnectionsurfacesoftherobotadapter
andtooladaptermustbeinparallelduringthe
ATC chuck / unchuck operation. Otherwise,
properjointingandsmoothseparationmaybe
prevented, and the electric contacts and
water/airsupplyportsmaybespoiledearlier.If
youcannotmaintainparallelismwiththerobot
anditsstand,youmayhavetousecompliance
onitsstandstomakeanadjustment.Insuch
cases, mate the flat surfaces by pressing the
robot adapter against the tool adapter for
properteaching.WehaveateachingaidJig,so
pleasecontactusifyouareinterestedin.

reasonsrelatedtothefacilities,takeduecareofthefollowing.Iftheline
has to be stopped with the tool side jointed, be sure to release the
unchuckportairregardlessofairsupplypressurepresence.(Noresidual
pressure allowed.) If the unchuck port is not released, the cam may
closeduetotheresidualairandresultintoolsidefalling.Pleasemove
therobottothepositionwheretoolsidecannotbedroppedoffbefore
linedowntimeandturnofftheelectricityandairpressure.
