General Remarks
This luminaire is ligh ing equipmen designed for professional indoor use in hea ers and elevison- or film s udios.
Designed and build in accordance wi h EN 60950 and EN 60598-17 regula ions, i mus impera ively be connec ed o ear h
by means of i s ear h wire.
To preven any elec rical shock, his equipmen should no be opened when i is powered.
Never heless:
•Any par s or lenses need o be replaced if hey are visibly damaged and heir efficiency migh be reduced, e.g. in case
of deep cracks or scra ches.
•The lamp mus be changed if damaged or dis or ed by hea .
If in ernal access is needed for con rol, service or repair purposes, always refer o qualified personnel. Always be sure o
unplug he power supply cable before opening he fix ure.

This luminaire is a piece of professional equipmen designed for easy and simple use. Always refer o qualified personnel for
any using, ins alla ion or repair work.
Avoid installing the luminaire near inflammable matters. Minimum distance between luminaire and inflammable matters is 1,9m
.

Power supply cables and o her connec ions are essen ial for your equipmen and con ribu e grea ly o a safe and rouble
free opera ion.

The luminaire can be used in hanging and uprigh posi ion.
The Yoke (12) has five fixing holes (4x11mm, 1x13mm diame er).

Elec rical Connec ion and Fi ing he lamp
1. This luminaire is designed for opera ing a a nominal vol age of 220 V - 240 V.
2. I is delivered wi h a cable HO7-RNF 3 x 1.5 qmm , 2,5 m leng h, equipped wi h a Schuko plug a he luminaire si e.
3. This luminaire is se for use wi h a 1 kW lamp (LCL 55 mm) bu i can be adap ed o ake a 1.2 kW lamp (LCL 67 mm).
The maximum diame er for he lamp bulb is limi ed o 32mm. Do no use a lamp wi h a larger bulb.
4. The Lamp Housing can be opened simply by loosen he wo screws.
5. Before opening he lamp Housing (1), you mus losing he Rear Sec ion Screw (2) und unplug he cable from vol age! In
he Lamp House, you will find he lamp socke , he mirror and he condenser op ic.
The luminaire has a GX9,5-Lamp socke and is for use wi h a 1000W or 1200W lamp. For using he 1000W lamp, you need
o adjus he lamp 12mm higher in he luminaire o be in op ical axis.
The differen lamp ypes are marked on he fixed par of he lamp socke . The lower mark is for he 1200W lamp, he higher
one for he 1000W lamp.
I is possible o modify he lamp holder, using he knurled screws:
- posi ion, near he condenser is for 1000W Lamp
- posi ion near he mirror is for 1200W
No more modifica ions are needed. All o her par s are fixed in he lamp housing.
Par s of Op ical Sys em
The plane of projec ion, you can find be ween lamp housing (1) and he
fron lenses ube (8). Here you can find he Iris (5), he Accessory slo (3)
and he beam shaper (4).
To pu he Iris in and ou , you mus remove he small plas ic bol .
Wi h he Iris i is possible o modify he diame er of he ligh .
The beam shapers are moun ed on 4 differen levels, which make i
possible o crea e differen shapes, e.g. a riangle.
The bo h zoom lenses are used o crea e he ligh ou pu . Wi h he zoom lens (10) you assign he ligh diame er, moving he
lens back and forward. Wi h he focus lens (7) you can sharpen he ligh ou pu .
Remarks
•The smalles pic ure you ge , moving he wo lenses he longes way away from each o her.
To have he bigges pic ure, move he wo lenses nearby each o her in he middle of he lens ube
•If you wan o defocus he ligh , you can use he zoom lenses. Move he one lens ou of he sharpness or moving bo h
lenses oge her.
•Be aware, ha i is only allowed o use his me hod for a maximum moving he lenses +/- 30mm (ou side he
sharpness). There is he risk o have he focal poin in he fil er frame and des roy he fil er, if you move he lenses in
he fron of he fron lenses ube.
Please use high empera ure Fil er Frames (like ROSCO-Supergel).

Opera ion wi h Color Scrollers
Color Scroller can be used wi h a special adap er or moun ed direc ly o he luminaire ins ead of he Fil er Frame Holder (9).
Be aware, using accessory in he Fil er Frame Holder shif he balance poin of he luminaire.
Main enance and Servicing
1. Zoom Profiler do no need any main enance. Bu dus deposi s normally are unpreven able, so i is necessary o clean
he op ical par s of he luminaire frequen ly.
Lenses, mirrors and lamp mus be clean wi h a clean and sof clo h soaked wi h alcohol. Please, don´ use chemical or
o her cleansing ma erial. I is forbidden o ouch he op ical par s bare handed.
The mirror and he aspheric lenses mus be changed every 2 o 3 years, o guaran ee a maximum ligh ou pu .
To clean he zoom lenses, please open he door of he fron lenses ube (2 screws).
2. For he Iris, please don´ use fa or oil.
3. Please check frequen ly all elec rical cables, elec rical and mechanical par s of he luminaire. Tigh en he screws if
needed. If you are no sure wha o do, please con ac our service eam.
4. Main enance and Servicing are he guaran y for a long economic life ime and an op imum in ligh ou pu .
Firs Time Use
Using he luminaire he firs ime, do i in he following way:
•Open he Iris and pull ou he beam shapers as far as possible
•Give full ligh for app. 15 minu es
•Close he iris for 1 minu e, open i for 5 minu es, close i again for 1 minu e , …
•Same procedure for he shu ers
•Doing his several imes, please
