Intended use
The SCLU112BU is a highly accurate portable digital
scale.
This product is intended to weigh luggage in an easy
and fast way.
The product is intended for indoor use only.
Any modication of the product may have
consequences for safety, warranty and proper
functioning.
This product can be used by children aged from 6
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children

• Only use the product as described in this
document.
• Do not use the product if a part is damaged or
defective. Replace a damaged or defective product
immediately.
• Do not drop the product and avoid bumping.
• Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
• Do not place this product close to a source of
strong magnetic elds (for example a speaker) or
high voltage devices.
• Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or re.
Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not short-circuit a cell or a battery.
• Do not store cells or batteries haphazardly in a box
or drawer where they may short-circuit each other
or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
• Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical
shock.

• In the event of a cell leaking, do not allow the
liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If
contact has been made, wash the aected area
with copious amounts of water and seek medical
advice.
• Do not mix cells of dierent manufacture, capacity,
size or type within a product.
• Only use the battery type(s) recommended in this
document.
• Keep cells and batteries clean and dry.
• Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on the
cell, battery and equipment and ensure correct
use.
• Always keep button cell batteries, both full and
empty, out of reach of children to avoid the chance
of swallowing. Dispose of used batteries
immediately and safely. Button cell batteries can
cause serious internal chemical burns in as little as
two hours when swallowed. Keep in mind that the
rst symptoms may look like child diseases like
coughing or drooling. Seek immediate medical
attention when you suspect that batteries have
been swallowed.
• Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or a
battery has been swallowed.
• Retain the original product literature for future
reference.
Before rst use
1. Open the battery compartment A8.
2. Remove the battery isolation strip.
3. Close the battery cover A9.

Using the product (image B)
1. Press and hold power and Z/T button A3for 1
second to switch on the product.
2. When the display A1shows 0.00, press
measurement unit button A4to select
measurement unit.
3. Pass the belt A5through the luggage handle.
4. Secure the hook A6around the triangular ring
A2.
5. Hold the product horizontally over the luggage.
6. Press power and Z/T button A3to zero or tare
any weight that should not be included in the total
weight of luggage. The display A1shows the
letter T and resets to 0.00.
7. Lift the product and luggage gently o the oor.
8. Wait for the weight reading to stop and stabilise.
The display A1shows the letter H, ashes the
measured weight 3 times and then locks.
9. The display A1shows the measured weight for 2
minutes, then automatically switches o.
4When the product is unable to read the weight of
the luggage, press power and Z/T button A3to
reset the display to 0.00 and try again.
10. Press and hold power and Z/T button A3for 3
seconds to switch o the product manually.
4Do not keep the product around sharp edged
objects while in storage to avoid pressure on
buttons that causes unnecessary battery drainage.

• Setzen Sie Zellen oder Batterien keinen
mechanischen Stößen aus.
• Im Falle eines Auslaufens der Batterie darf die
Flüssigkeit keinesfalls mit der Haut oder den
Augen in Kontakt kommen. Sollte es dennoch zu
Kontakt kommen, waschen Sie den betroenen
Bereich mit reichlich Wasser ab und holen Sie
ärztlichen Rat ein.
• Kombinieren Sie keine Akkus unterschiedlicher
Hersteller, Kapazität, Größe oder Art innerhalb
eines Produkts.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich den/die in diesem
Dokument beschriebenen Batterietyp(en).
• Halten Sie Zellen und Batterien sauber und
trocken.
• Achten Sie auf die Kennzeichnungen für plus (+)
und minus (-) an den Batterien und im Gerät, um
die korrekte Verwendung sicher zu stellen.
• Bewahren Sie volle und leere Knopfzellenbatterien
immer außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf,
um die Gefahr des Verschluckens zu vermeiden.
Die Entsorgung verbrauchter Batterien sollte
immer unverzüglich und auf sichere Weise
erfolgen. Knopfzellenbatterien können beim
Verschlucken innerhalb von nur zwei Stunden
schwere innere chemische Verätzungen
verursachen. Beachten Sie, dass die ersten
Anzeichen dafür wie Symptome von
Kinderkrankheiten wie Husten oder vermehrter
Speicheluss aussehen können. Suchen Sie sofort
einen Arzt auf, wenn Sie den Verdacht haben, dass
Batterien verschluckt wurden.
