1 Preface
Read this manual carefully before installaon, use and service of this product.
Replace the manual immediately if lost. Nederman reserves the right, without
previous noce, to modify and improve its products including documentaon.
This product is designed to meet the requirements of relevant EC direcves. To
maintain this status, all installaon, maintenance and repair is to be done by
qualied personnel using only Nederman original spare parts and accessories.
Contact the nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for advice on
technical service and obtaining spare parts. If there are any damaged or
missing parts when the product is delivered, nofy the carrier and the local
Nederman representave immediately.

2 Safety
This document contains important informaon that is presented either as a
warning, cauon or note. See the following examples:
WARNING! Risk of personal injury.
Warnings indicate a potenal hazard to the health and safety of personnel,
and how that hazard may be avoided.
CAUTION! Risk of equipment damage.
Cauons indicate a potenal hazard to the product but not to personnel, and
how that hazard may be avoided.
NOTE! Notes contain other informaon that is important for personnel.
2.1 General
WORK SAFETY REGULATIONS WARNING! Risk of personal injuries and/or
product damages.
• The system must not be used for other purposes than extracng vehicle
exhaust fumes.
• If the system is designed for use only with staonary vehicles, the vehicle
must not be moved when the hose nozzle has been connected to the vehicle
exhaust pipe.
• Always disconnect the nozzle from the exhaust pipe before the vehicle is
driven out of the garage.
• The system must not be used when working on the vehicle´s fuel system,
when recharging the baeries or whenever there is a risk for inammable
dust or explosive gases.
• When working with a running engine and specially in a greasing pit a gas
detector is recommended.
• Check that there is enough sucon capacity in the exhaust hose before it
is connected to the vehicle’s exhaust pipe. If not, check the fan impeller
rotaon direcon and/or damper funcon. If necessary check installaon of
fan start switch.
• Check that the nozzle is correctly ed to the exhaust pipe.
• Use a dust lter mask during service and repair work inside the system (for
example hose or nozzle).
• For systems with automac disconnecon the maximum speed must not be
more than 15 km/h.
• Check that the hose or nozzle will not snag on any protruding parts on the
vehicle or near surroundings.
• Risk of burn injuries! When using the system for a long me with high
engine speed, avoid contact with hot hose or nozzle.
