Safety and Compliance
Warning: No tampering
No user replaceable parts. Only to be opened by an authorised service representative. Attempting
to open the unit without the proper tools will damage the IP66 protective seal.
FCC Statement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference, and
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
Please take attention that changes or modification not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Note: This product has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential installation. This product generates, uses, and can
radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions,

Introduction
FUSION Voice brings together Wi-Fi based VoIP communications with traditional UHF or VHF
radio systems onto a single, vehicle mounted device.
Built on proven Tait hardware, FUSION Voice can operate on any 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, and is
optimized for roaming on the MST IMPACT.
FUSION Voice is a powerful platform that will extend existing systems, or help enable mixed
communication solutions. It offers the following features:
• IP54 vehicle mounted enclosure
• 802.11b/g/n wireless radio
• MST Push-To-Talk including 30 custom, 1 Broadcast, 1 Emergency Channel
• Choice of UHF or VHF, Trunked or Conventional LMR

Tait UnifyVehicle
FUSION Voice is built in collaboration with Tait Communications, and their UnifyVehicle product
which integrates an edge computing device to Tait TM9355 mobiles with remote control head.
On this platform MST delivers a proven PTT VoIP solution compatible with MST MinePhones.

Physical Installation
Tools
The following tools are required to install the radio:
• drill and drill bits
• Pozidriv screwdriver
• 5/16 inch (8 mm) socket
• RF connector crimp tool
• fuse crimp tool
• in-line RF power meter capable of measuring forward and reflected power at the operating
frequency of the radio
Installation procedure
The FUSION Voice physical installation follows the guidelines for installing Tait TM9355 with
remote control head, with the addition of an external Wi-Fi antenna.
