1.Disconnectnegativebatterycablefrombattery.

2.Raisevehicle.

3.Removerightfrontwheel.

4.Removetheinnersplashshield.

5.Rotatebelttensioner(8)untilitcontactsitsstop.Re

movethebelt(7),thenslowlyrotatethetensionerinto

thefreearmposition.

6.Lowerthevehicle.

7.Openthehood.

8.Partiallydrainthecoolingsystembelowtheupperra

diatorhose.

9.Removetheenginecover.

10.Disconnectthefreshairmakeuphose(4)fromtheair

cleanerbody(1).

11.Removethepushpin(3).

12.Removetwobolts(2)fromtheaircleanerbody(1).

13.Loosentheclamp(5)attheresonatorandremovethe

aircleanerbody(1).

14.Removewindshieldwasherreservoir(1).

15.Disconnectradiatorfanelectricalconnectors.

16.Removethewiringharnessfromthelowerfan.

17.Removethefourmountingbolts(4)fromtheradiator

fan(3)assembly.

18.Removeradiatorfanassemblyfromthecoreshroud

(2).

19.Disconnectthegeneratorﬁeldelectricalconnector(1).

20.RemovetheB+retainer(2)andremovetheB+cable.

21.Removethegeneratorfasteners(1).

22.Removethegenerator(2).

23.Installthekitsuppliedengineblockheater(1)andbolt

(3)intotheenglineblockport(2).

24.Tightentheboltto12Nm(8ft.lbs.).
